US Joe Biden News Megathread - The Other Biden Derangement Syndrome Thread (with a side order of Fauci Derangement Syndrome)

Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

So on the dog news, the fuckers kicked Major out and he’s going to stay with another family for the rest of his life, but then they got a new puppy and a new cat. You couldn’t control your previous pets so you’re going to try with the youth, this has eerie parallels to people.

This is also the entitled mentality of these northeastern waspy fucks that makes me always wish for their reaping of the whirlwind.

“I have the freedom to kill you with my COVID” - Joe Biden, 2021

Gotta love Marc Elias, amirite?

The only uber-blackpill I hold will be absurd enough to send me into lunacy: Democrats just say fuck it. Can't have "muh 81 million" drop whatsoever — no where to go but up! Just run Biden again, pray for life, and pump until 90M+ or 100M+ votes. He'll look worse than Roosevelt at his fourth inauguration, but nobody will do anything, so screw it!

But they'll run the same playbook. Worked in '20, didn't it?

I would very much appreciate proof for these claims listed by your Twitter link, I've seen articles regarding the same using anonymous sources (like at NY Post), but they provide no real data to back up these claims other than the claims.

Trump is clearly planning to run again and will mostly likely win the primary.

The man is 75 now, and is already half the man he used to be. He'll likely be at Biden levels of dumb by 78, if he's not dead.

Sincerely, a large part of me hopes they're both alive and we have the first DEMENTIA DEBATES, maybe with some poop?

Manchin switching to Republican would be a bad move for him and for the GOP.

Manchin gets plenty of attention and the stage to grandstand about caring for his constituents. People in WV like him, it ain't worth the risk of flipping parties to potentially gain a few more Republican voters only to get primaried and lose.

The GOP gains because Manchin and Sinema holding things up makes it harder for the Dems and their media allies to paint Congressional disfunction as a Republican issue.

Oh no, the oval pawfice will be reborn even faggier than before, hide yo dogs from getting raped.

So how many of these Omicron cases are actually the flu? You remember the flu. Apparently it miraculously disappeared in 2020.
Influenza is way worse than Omicron.

Wait, they kicked Major out? That's funny. He'll be staying with the extended Biden family though I think.

martial law.

Should be, "Martial law." You're supposed to capitalize the first letter of a sentence, even if it's a fragment!

YOU BIG DUMMY

Why would you elect someone to a mayorship when they are named Bowser? No one should take someone seriosuly with a name like that.

SAY THAT TO MY FACE

Just now catching up and I have some means of answering this:

If Trump even tried to accuse Epstein at that time of anything, without evidence or knowledge of a police investigation, he would be sued into oblivion and we all know it.

It literally doesn’t matter how many big money donors go down if Trump gets to burn as well, the Dems literally believe that more money will magically manifest into the Clinton Foundation if they manage to get rid of Trump for good.

Trump’s 4th Amendment protection from unlawful searches was violated repeatedly during his presidency. They would have found something tying him to Epstein, there is no way whatsoever that Obama’s weaponizing of the feds to stop Trump’s campaign would miss that mark. There’s incompetence, there’s clown world, but neither could excuse that big of a blunder.

In short, the feds would have eaten Trump alive before Election Day.

i agree that Trump couldn't make any public accusations without opening himself up to a lawsuit, however, it's not illegal for Trump to kick Epstein out of Mar-a-Largo; it's not illegal to not party with pederasts.

The ties to Epstein are public and documented and undeniable (to rational people, anyway), and have been for many years, long before Trump ran for office. They don't need to "find" anything else to tie Trump to Epstein, just listen to the words that Trump and Epstein have said about their ties, and the words of everybody that knew them at the time, and the photos and video publicly available.

Anyway, you may think that the Democratic party would be fine with losing top donors, prestigious professors, Gates, Zuckerberg, and the Clintons to eliminate Trump with an Epstein reveal... I disagree, but we'll likely never know the details anyway, and this is all just for cheap laughs.

Please note that Gates/Zuckerberg's ties to Epstein were nowhere near as public and long-lasting as Trump's and this is purely conjecture on my part, but Billy Clinton is another matter (and he was also Trump's frequent golf partner at the time).

"I've played with Bill Clinton a lot," Trump said on the Dan Le Batard Show. "He's a terrific guy."

Gross!

What's her district? Also that's pretty bad when a "moderate" is saying they aren't going for re-election usually

"Moderate" Florida Democrat Stephanie Murphy announced she isn't running for reelection in 2022, that is another potential flip.
from what I understand she was probably going to be in choppy waters at best post-redistricting that's imminent, so this might be her dipping to not rack up an L next year
also she's a moderate in that aligned PACs run ads about her being a moderate and... that's about it afaik

Since there are elements of the BBB bill that are "so popular" with the people, why don't they just try to make those elements into stand-alone bills? Is it only because they're allowed a limited number of "funding" bills which can bypass the filibuster?
Because
1. There are no elements of the BBB bill that are popular with the majority of America. It's all pork and kickbacks and bribes.
2. They are using the "popular" elements to push through the unpopular ones.
3. They are hiding the pork and kickbacks and bribes in the megabill, and splitting them out would make them obvious and thus impossible to pass.

Less than three months. Lurk moar faggot.

Hey, did you know you can lurk without registering? It's true, hand to God.

Learn how lurking works, did you register to lurk? You can't even lurk right! WORST LURKER THAT EVER LURKED

you first you nigger gorilla.

No! Now shut your gobhole, stupid dog! You can't even open a fucking door, you're useless!

A gorilla can open a door, I win, checkmate.

Say what you want about Fatotaur, but at least in their unhinged rants they don't hold down the Shift key in their impotent frothing rage.

I'm sorry you think I'm mad and frothing and stuff. Do you want to talk about it? Do you think signs in all capital letters were written by angry people? When you see a "STOP" sign are you afraid? Do you wince when you read advertising? What a life!

I feel AWFUL for you!

Oooh three days this time.
I'll toooootally read it now.

I believe the dossier actually did come from 4chan, as a deliberate "they can't be this fucking dumb as to believe this, right?" trolling attempt. You know, same place the "OK sign is white supremacist" meme came from.

Unlike you, people have posted plenty of sources as a basis for that belief.

I guess you missed the sources I posted? Oh well, they still exist, even if you are unaware of them!

Nobody believes this shit at all, if you look at the endless shitting upon McConnell. Hell, I'm one of his biggest proponents in A&N and the furthest I'll go is "He likes to fuck over the Dems whenever he can derive personal advantage." Which is still better by far than the RINOs who will suck Dem cock for personal advantage.

Wrong, you can see proof of it in this very thread quite often. And it's funny, and I'm not complaining.

I guess you missed that, like you missed my sources. But.... it's still there!

Oh my, its almost like positions and ideas change over time to the point where a 90's Democrat is now a hardcore Republican. Hell, just look at JFK and his actions and tell me he'd be a modern-day Democrat, with his opposition to the USSR and his distaste of the CIA, as well as his panning of the Civil Rights Act to keep the Dixiecrats onboard.

Indeed! If you had told a Republican in the 2000s or prior that a lifelong Democrat, friend of pederasts, and Clinton golfing buddy mentored by the scumbag faggot Roy Cohn would be a Republican President, they would say you are bat-shit crazy... throw in that he loves Russia and North Korea and shits on States in the USA? You could watch their eyes turn red as the vessels burst.

You know we can tell how long you lurked just for this right.
We also saw how you tried to make your account private. Lmao.

So you count the days between my posts AND decide in your little mind that if my browser is open I'm on the page, waiting to respond to you?

You are a DELIGHT!

Also, never tried to make my account "private" though I'm not good with a touch screen and mistakes may have been made. But you keep thinking about it, I love living in your head rent free! Even if the accommodations are tiny.

Can you tell I've never visited your profile?

Hahaha!

So, sources tell me, the president and Manchin had a good discussion on Dec. 14 and “agreed” they just weren’t going to be on the same page on the legislation before Christmas — and Biden then suggested they put things on hold until the new year. Biden even reportedly said he knew the official size of the bill had grown by a half-trillion dollars and he would get his folks to knock the numbers back down to the $1.75 trillion framework all had previously agreed to.

...

Joe and Joe were pulling in the same direction. There would be no BBB gifts under the Christmas tree — but no one would get coal in their stockings, either. Both sides were congenial, and both agreed not to trash each other, not to throw around White House chief of staff Ron Klain’s name, or the president’s or presidential counselor Steve Ricchetti’s — and the White House would refrain from finger-pointing as a way to keep the process constructive.

My sources on this come from both Manchin’s people and the White House.

But then – bang! – the White House released a statement blaming Manchin for the delay. It tried to strike a positive tone about the future, but it targeted Manchin specifically and alone.

“I had a productive call with Speaker Pelosi and Majority Leader Schumer earlier today. I briefed them on the most recent discussions that my staff and I have held with Senator Manchin about Build Back Better. In these discussions, Senator Manchin has reiterated his support for Build Back Better funding at the level of the framework plan I announced in September. I believe that we will bridge our differences and advance the Build Back Better plan, even in the face of fierce Republican opposition.”

I know Manchin. He believes in civility above all things. When George Washington, at age 14, hand-wrote his 110 rules of civility, Rule No. 1 was: “Every Action done in Company, ought to be with Some Sign of Respect, to those that are Present.” When I saw Manchin’s name in the presidential statement, I knew he would perceive it as a breach of process, a breach of spirit, a breach of Joe and Joe working this out so that politicians from Scranton and Charleston could find a way to align with those from Brooklyn and San Francisco.

Given the protests that Manchin’s family has experienced at his home, which is a boat in Washington Harbor — with folks harassing him, his wife and grandson by kayak around his boat and the gate to the marina — I knew this presidential statement was personalizing the game. It put his family at risk, in my view. Everyone knows Manchin and Sinema are the two Democrats the White House must negotiate with because it has given up on Republicans — but to specify Manchin in a presidential statement meant the terms of the dealmaking had changed.

The question now is “Who lost Joe Manchin?” Was it the president who veered away from his own famous framework for dealing with difficult leaders? How could the White House not know that getting uncivil with Manchin — who believes in civility even with his biggest antagonists, who had a three-hour dinner with progressive leader Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) and then spoke publicly about how valuable it was to know her better than he did previously — would be so destructive?

Sources tell me that the White House was not all that shocked by Manchin’s “no” on Build Back Better. They heard last Thursday that he was done negotiating. In my view, the control had shifted from a Biden who had said “don’t support this unless you can really get behind it” to a White House that wanted to play the blame game.

This is not the way Biden usually operates. He doesn’t blame either side in a negotiation; he usually works it through, detail by detail, resolving problem after problem. Biden was famous for coaxing all parties in Iraq not to jump ship, participating in detail-rich but painstakingly long weekly video calls with all parties trying to hold Iraq together. Biden sat through every minute, every week, for a long time. Not understanding Manchin’s red lines on negotiating doesn’t sound like Biden — but, somehow, someone went right over those lines.

When tempers cool after the holidays, perhaps the White House will see that with Manchin, temperament matters. He has said repeatedly that there are lots of areas of Build Back Better he supports but that every key part of the bill must be funded without gimmicks. To do that, the conglomerate of the bill probably needs to be broken into manageable pieces. That might be an opportunity for politicians of good will, who care about the American people and being honest with them, to come back and try again.

This article heavily implies that someone on Joe's staff jumped the gun and put out a bullying statement about Manchin, even after everyone had agreed to table the thing for now. And Ron Klain and Steve Richetti are third rails in the negotiations, for some reason. Manchin probably hates them both and was willing not to tell the world they were dragging the process down ... until the WH targeted him.
