This weekend is the only time Champions doesn't have a big event going on, though. Even Scopely knows to back down from constantly ripping off idiots at times.

Edit: There is Champions Feud at limited times during Xmas stuff, nevermind.

I wonder what he's doing Friday night and Saturday. This gives credence to the Ma Burnell is there conspiracy because there must be a good reason he's not streaming to fellow lonely losers desperate for any human connection on the holiday.

If Mama Burnell was there we would know it. This guy would have a significant shift in his personality if his mom was in his house listening to his bullshit. He's supposed to be looking for a real job remember? 5 year plan? It's just Khet being an NPC honestly.

Speaking of his parents it would be interesting if he gets a question about them. I wonder if he will even call them on Christmas or just wait till Sunday because calling them is such a chore to him.

The "Linda is in the Snort Fort" theory is cute but almost certainly wrong, Phil is such a terrible liar that he would have let it slip by now and there's no earthly reason for her to be there - if it's to keep Phil's finances in line she already failed, if it's because she wants to spend more time with Phil he certainly isn't doing that, and if it's because she needs medical treatment there is no reason she could not get it in NYC or Boston. There's also next to no proof - other than disabling his SM replies he has not changed his behavior or even his schedule since the move back to YT. I think you're just looking for something to make Phil exciting again.

Even I don't think she's there now, though I'm sure both his parents were present for Thanksbegging. There's a reason he set up an excuse to be absent from the stream well in advance with a nonsensical explanation before, but isn't doing that now, and I'm sure it's because he had to drop his parents off at the airport. He just also happened to be such a fucking gacha junkie that he could manage to squeeze it in somewhere, probably after he got home, long before he admitted that he did. I once thought otherwise, that he set up time to play Champions and his parents weren't there, but in the Christmas spirit I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt that it was mere coincidence. Still calling him a liar about something, though, I'm not feeling THAT festive.

As for what he's up to this holiday, I assume he just doesn't want to stream for some reason we wouldn't understand. It won't be for any reason he states publicly, we know that. Especially when it involves believing his horse shit about having a "family" that he cherishes.

Me too. I'm more interested in seeing how long it takes for him to bitch about not having yet received $50 in tips, completely ignoring having more than that in superchats by that point.

That's why his grift is so stupidly executed. His paypigs obviously feel way more comfortable using superchats, and since they're not supposed to know what his tips are actually for, they can't possibly be expected to feel bad about not depositing money directly into his PayPal account. Their whole thing is giving Phil money somehow, not giving him the satisfaction of being able to flex on everybody with a vest streak.

He obviously can't afford to let them in on the grift, but the inescapable consequence of this set-up revolving around tips is that the paypigs physically can't be compelled so powerfully to give Phil everything he wants and nothing he doesn't. Especially since he always backs off on his poverty-pleading in an attempt to never look poor or rich enough to either discourage tips or appear like the complete financial disaster that he really is.

If Phil had focused on the eventual money instead of the immediate money, he wouldn't be in this mess now, and amping up the need for tips once in a blue moon would be more effective when he did it.

That reads so much like an older shit-related quote of his, and yet I know this is legit from today, without even checking.

Also, yet another example of how Phil's various vices are definitely worse off-camera, because this is one of the few offensive things he can go all-out on without worrying about it reseting his rep to, funnily enough, shit-tier. He HAS to be making up for all the other indulgences he's denied on-camera by increasing the poop talk thanks to it being so much safer than laughing about Chicky Chang Wangs and stationaries.
