I had a chat with someone I know in management at Starbucks here in Canuckistan and at least here in the event of making an employee feel unsafe enough, stalking an employee, sexually or physically assaulting an employee, or threatening an employee with lethal force Starbucks policy is a district ban. This would ban him from a multitude of locations. This is because internally Starbucks likes to have all their employees available to all other locations in their district in the event something goes wrong at one location they can avoid layoffs, or in the event of being understaffed they can draw from other locations.I think it's just that one (and I believe multiple bars in Spokane...and multiple homeless shelters at least for short times...and the apartment rental lists...and his family members' homes...). I would imagine it's hard to do any kind of multi-location ban across Starbucks locations and be able to enforce it unless it's an extreme situation. But who knows, they may have put on paper that they're "banning" him from that location and every other one under the sun and hope that would be enough to keep him away.
That said, only a store, district, or regional manager could see the ban, and it would need to overlap with his district.
