The "rich young prince" parable in the Bible is often mis-interpreted that you have to be poor/give up riches to follow Christ. That is not what Jesus is saying at all. The point is for the rich young prince who asked Jesus how to gain eternal life - money was his "god". Jesus knew the prince's heart and that he worshiped money more than God. Until he got rid of that false god in his life, he was unable to follow the true god.

Most people have false gods they put above the true God - that's the point of the parable. Identify your false god and get rid of it to find eternal life.

Weird that Lucas basically goes with the my body is my temple thing that Christians say. Does anyone remember him trying to hit on a woman with a lot of tattoos on tinder by telling her about how he's not sure if he likes tattoos? I think she just blocked him and he sperged out about it. I was reading a similar post last night but I couldn't find it.

His false God is a hot, 18-24 year old, fecund, socialist atheist zoomer bae who has enough gainful employment for the both of them AND enjoys getting fisted. He ain't ever getting rid of that.

None that I've seen. The only real source for info on that front is Myrna and she only posts about Lucas yearly. Plus she's got the dementia so there's a good chance she won't remember he exists by the time Lucas takes up residence in homo hell.

Lucas compared himself to jack from titanic

The only thing that makes any sense about that if lucas was jack he definitely wouldn't have been able to fit on that piece of wood at the end without sinking them both. Plus the instant he realized the ship was sinking he would have made a beeline for the kitchen and gorged himself on first class leftovers
