Gotta say: Friday the 13th.
That was a shit-fire through and through.
First, was some janky shit they pulled during their Kickstarter. They had the "Friends & Family Pack" where you'd pay $100 and get Steam codes for the game for you and three family/friends. Right at the Closed Beta they turned around and changed the fucking thing so now you ONLY GOT KEYS FOR THE BETA. That's right. At first they weren't even going to give the people who backed it the keys for the final game, and a lot of people caught on to the fuckery.
Then, it was released buggy as fuck. Which was bad enough, but then it turned out that the Jason player could jump out and fuck everyone if they didn't get their kills fast enough. To top it off, Jason could jabber at everyone over the voice. Nice.
The updates were janky, the bug-fixes weren't very good.
And the hackers weren't helping.
But then came "eThot Surprise!"
What happened here, was a streamer was playing and he noticed that Jason was walking along between two players. The two players, who turned out to be Twitch Thots, told the guy to let their friend kill him or they'd report him for random shit. (IIRC it was sexual harassment) Well, the guy rightfully told them to go fuck themselves, and working with Jason like that was supposed to have been a bannable or suspending offense. The Twitch Thots claimed they knew the Devs, and the guy blew it off.
Then he suddenly got suspended. Turns out, the Devs were horny for the two Thots.
The guy posts the video, which clearly and plainly shows what happened. The Devs double-down.
Right at the same time, it suddenly comes out that instead of working on the F13 Game, they're taking the money and developing a new game rather than keeping up with what they were supposed to. Then the DLC.
Then, out of the blue, the lawsuit happens.
Now, where's the in-game bullshit, you ask?
Well, the in-game bullshit is recently it went around they're going to shut down the servers.
They still haven't enabled players to make a private server yet.
So, fuck you for buying the game, fuck you for kickstarting the game.
All everyone learned was not to trust Kickstarter games.
