I looked into the bottom credits at that promo poster they posted on Twitter

Keep Spitballing has no information online about it animation wise. It’s a subsidiary for A24 most likely since this will be A24’s first animation production. (Also if it runs out of money into bankruptcy or gets into legal issues for some reason, it won’t affect A24) So HH has more pressure for it to be a success because this is a risk on the company.

Bento Box on the other hand did Bob’s Burgers that’s on Fox and other stuff like The Great North and Duncanville.

So I’m not sure if the show is gonna be buttery like the pilot. It might be significantly more tween animation and stiff ALA Bojack Horseman and Rick and Morty. Again not sure, just guessing since Bento is attached to this and they’re Fox night people focused on modern adult comedy.

Bento box is also working on Smiling Friends for Adult Swim, and that looks like a genuinely interesting show, so who knows

It’s a bit extreme to call the creator shallow and greedy over something that’s probably out of her control. As people have mentioned, this is pretty standard stuff for professional productions that usually involve unions and happens all the time in other shows.

And seriously dude, it’s just a handful of VAs, not everyone who helped with the pilot. Angel Dust was the only real loss anyways.

Devil’s advocate aside, I can imagine Viv would use this chance to cast a gay VA for Angel because she is the type who believes in “queer character, queer actor”.

Unions are just a huge pain in the ass, I hope whoever replaces all these VAs do good jobs, especially for Angel Dust since that performance by the first actor is ingrained into many people.

Hollywood is under wats knows as the Screen Actors Guild, which is essentially an actors union. They have so much power in Hollywood, that if you’re going to be making anything there, to get an actual decent amount of funding, you have to use their actors and their personal, or they’ll essentially blacklist you from Hollywood.

If you ever saw Team America: World Police, that what Matt and Trey were specifically mocking and calling out with F.A.G.

It completely misreads it. You can't possibly have watched the show and understood it, as simple as it is, and come to the conclusion that Stolas married that bitch and just immediately queered out and started fucking imps.

The obvious proof that wasn't the case would be the scene with Octavia. Specifically:

"When I was a kid and my parents didn't hate each other and my dad didn't flirt with some weird red dickhead the entire time."

And she had previously said she was five when Loo Loo Land was her favorite place. So obviously they were at least pretending to get along well enough to fool their daughter up until the time she was five.

Of course this was also set up with the scene where she had a nightmare and Stella couldn't give a shit less. She's just a cold, nasty bitch.

It's no wonder Stolas chose to find solace in someone else's arms.

I genuinely hope that they keep up with the bootleg hitmen company, and on the side Stolas and Blitz try and work something out in a sort of "let's try this, oh it failed, on to plan X" kind of humor. I don't mind the lore dumping here and there, but this whole thing started on a silly note and I'd like to keep it going that way.

Also why are people still hung up over what Stolas did? Yeah, it was shitty, because in the end it's not him or Stella who truly suffer, but Octavia. What shitty things two people do to each other is one thing, but when there's kids then no one really wins unless the parents amicably broke up, and that shit's rarer then a blue moon.
