0I do agree. I hate corporations and wish that fair use/copyright law were changed. But until that law IS changed, they're just giving the companies ammunition in order to destroy the website they're streaming from. And the more brazenly they violate it, the more and more corps will take notice. Which is why I wish one person were made a REAL example of so as to dissuade others to stop, rather than having the site as a whole be DMCA'd.

CohhCarnage said it best I think:

And really, this. The big streamers are for the most part are already rich. And they are just being lazy and raking in even more money. When all is said and done, they'll have made some stupid easy cash and the rest of the site will be fucked to deal with the fallout of this.
If twitch doesn't really slap somebody on the wrist for this (more than suspending them for 2 days), it's likely they'll find themselves in a similar situation to ISPs. In 2019, major labels banded together and have successfully sued Cox and Charter for billions for piracy. The ISPs would typically be protected from liability for the actions of their users, but the labels were able to pull up tens of thousands of emails alerting both the ISP and the users of illegal activity. It was the lack of strong punishment that lost them the case. With twitch, it has clearly been a longstanding issue and they just ignore when their cash cow streamers break TOS. These streamers were pushed onto the front page while doing it. Their top streamer streamed the fucking Olympics for free a few months ago. You know how long he was suspended? 5 hours. Pokimane sat down and ate ate and made funny faces occasionally while Avatar played for 10 hours. It's virtually impossible she didn't know it was against DMCA law and if Viacom really wanted to they could most likely completely fuck twitch. Especially if it comes out that Twitch was warned.

YouTube's next streaming update will allegedly add gift subs, raids, chat moderation tools and support for bttv esque emotes. It might just be an objectively better platform than twitch in a few months anyways.

Fucking copyright law drives me crazy. At least with the old dmca system, they just slapped ads on your video that paid the ip holder or muted some of it. It's bullshit but there's logic behind it. Does anybody involved even 'win' with this DFE system? People can't even play half the games out today on stream without scrambling to mute them when a song starts because it could strike them.

To add onto the lawsuit angle. When people say twitch, they mean amazon, and when people say amazon they mean fuck tons of money. I have to wonder how far can twitch push this sort of thing while still being protected by dmca.

When you're promoting and profiting off of blatant willful infringement, you are asking for a judge with a stick up his ass to fuck you hard. And when it comes to copyright infringement, damage calculations can be absurd.

This is sum good animation.
Wish It had a "POI" sound effect to it.

It seems unlikely to me that a bug would somehow hit the 10 female members of NijiEN but miss the 5 male ones. I think people just don't want to admit that the guys (or at least, Mysta, Vox, and to a lesser extent Luca) are more readily capable of pulling bigger CCV numbers than the NijiEN girls at this moment.
Someone mentioned that people spamming emotes on chat would also get counted as a bot and not as a viewer. If this theory is somewhat accurate that could easily explain why the girls get hit and the boys don't. The girls have Karaoke streams and singing streams. The boys don't.

Really nice song selection. Didn't expect her to sing a few 80's and 90's songs.

Please god let some big clipper, clip this song and let everyone else see it.
Usually all unarchived karaokes are clipped but due to some issues with cover the bigger channels try to avoid doing so. Also which song are you referring to?

Huge media corporations win. They want platforms like YouTube all to themselves, and to discourage anyone else from getting big enough to threaten their share of the pie. They purposely slant the playing field to favor the industry heavyweights. They don't want any newcomers to threaten their grip on modern media, regardless of the type of media, or how 'fair' it might be to share it

Yumeno Lilith of Norio Pro's contract will be cancelled due to breach of contract, violation of confidentiality agreement and suspicions of law breaking

Tried to condense this as much as possible but it still came out at 24 minutes. There is 0 editing in this only just trimming all of the fat. I didn't want to cut some of the longer parts as there is context in it.
Good work again.

If you want an idea for a future video, here's one I thought of the other day that would be kinda funny; a supercut of Pippa being toxic. Calling the chat racist or accusing them of gaslighting, bitching about how much she hates the game she's playing, reading the first third of a Superchat but then screaming "Shut the fuck up!" at the donator, etc. She does that sort of thing quite a bit. Of course it's all in fun but I think it'd be funny to have even just one stream's worth of abuse cut together to show just how toxic the rabbit is.

Any of you have a nice piano/acoustic song or cover recommendations of your favorite vtubers that I may add to my playlist? Thanks.

I mean your favorite vtuber singing with an acoustic or piano accompanim
This stream is a goldmine
(tons of them have versions of this song btw)

t

I just started watching some of Levi's karaokes and she had a few but there's no clips of individual songs. Her, Melissa, Ryushen and Inui Toko all have ridiculously good voices

She did some collabs with Hololive members, I think at least Choco and Roberu.
Yes, her pink history.

Edit - Curious on the rest of the story, breach of contract and illegal activities (law breaking)
Edit Edit - Also Ollie
No clips but there are timestamps, run it through Deepl if you can't read moonrunes

So breach of contract, NDA violation, law breaking, that's the whole shebang. Wonder what she actually do
I want to see IRyS react to gamer word
Is it just me or did Irys lighten the skin tone of her channel's avatar as well?

I thought Nori Pro was just Norio / Tamaki's excuse to play around as a v-tuber. What shit did they pull to get on the bad side of the most degenerate v-tuber boss out there.

I had to look up Nori Pro again, because I thought it was just the Norio and their friends fucking around. I guess they now have enough people to be an actual company.
