Have the faces of Lui/Chloe been discovered yet? I have only stumbled upon Iroha/La+/Koyori's irl photos so far, the remaining two seem to be a mystery.
Chloe doesn't have a prior internet identity, Yagoo just found her picking through the dumpster behind the Cover offices.

It's probably common knowledge by now that Nijisanji asks content creators to react to Niji clips, but Nagzz confirms that he, Koefficient and Noble were recently contacted to react to NijiEN.
I can't recall if Lost Pause or Koefficient were the ones to say that they were contacted to react to Niji clips last time(EDIT: It was Lost Pause).
Pretty sure Koe and about 2 other 10k sub-channels had made a youtube video strictly reacting to Niji clips and they mentioned that Niji was the ones that reached out so I'm guessing it was some sort of paid promotion of sorts. This time around I'm guessing it has more to do with Niji just telling the more popular reactors that they are free to use/clip/react to their content without any fear of YMCA. Sort of an encouragement for them to consume/promote more Niji clips to help the brand grow.

Nagzz already mentioned that after he finishes the series he is doing with Hololive he would move on to NijisanjiEN. Pretty sure this is unrelated to the quote above but in a way it is part of the effect. In the past 9 months NijiEN has pretty much sparked a ton of interest in the company and if you search for vtuber clips it a few Niji clips will pop in among the majority of Hololive ones. A year ago there were 0 Niji clips popping up in my recommendations.

So I guess Niji have decided to just abandon any idea of making organic following and hype
Not very surprising, honestly
When there is a company that has a huge control of a market it is really hard that any change will come "organically". This is why Phase Connect made their clipping contest recently. As an incentive to have more people creating clips which in turn might also lead to smaller channels to have some sort of content that will help them slowly grow which means overall more content coming out with the tags to make the talents more visible in the algorythm.

EN curse strikes again.

Recap of hawk English
- She likes nikujaga because her mom cooked it. (Breed rrats at own risk.)
- Announced Pekora's birthday live. "Her 3D model will update today, so please check it out."
- Talked to Mumei, Ina, Sana and Fauna about what they wanted to do in Japan and offered to be their tour guide. They told her to watch Powerpuff Girls and Spongebob to improve her English. :story:
- EN and ID collab on 20 January
- Calli has said that Lui's English is better than her Japanese. Lui thinks the reverse. (The difference is that Lui doesn't have to get sauced to speak English.)
- "YAGOO is idol. Lui-chan is comedian."
- "'What is your favourite game?' Do you know Professor Layton? ... Don't say Outlast. Shaddup."
- Weird turn into #foreveralone musings starting around 46:55
-- Afraid of betrayal
-- Chloe is "Just partner, right? Business partner." (lol)
-- Chat suggested YAGOO as someone who might change her mind and she just laughed. "YAGOO already married."
-- "This is difficult problem for me, about romance, so it's okay. Don't think about that, okay?"
- Talked about favourite music
- Is on Reddit (has been since December) and knows that people are memeing on her use of "I'm lovin' it".
Man I fucking love that dumb bird. Wish I could catch more of her stuff. (hope they fix her model unless she's is actually a mouthbreather and has her mouth constantly open).

damn she wont stop yawning. did she just wake up or something? sour throt, sounds like she's on meds and talked about "fixing" her shoulders yesterday.

"edit" turned out she did just wake up lol. fully awake now.
Since she streams at around 11-12 in the afternoon in Japan. I would expect her to be waking up at that time.

Wait so Pippa's 2view tuba gets an actual Capcom partnership but Phase Connect doesn't? How does that work?
Capcom might not want to work with corps, only independent creators?

She plays it up. It's her character; a legally blonde style alien who doesn't understand earth. The situation you described is the tip of the iceberg.

In terms of entertainment, she's okay; in terms of maintaining kayfabe, she's one of the best.
My favorite moment from her is in the last FNaF: Security Breach stream where the end boss broke her and she dropped everything, including the high pitched bimbo voice.

E: apparently she has an appointment for the 17th, Monday, since no one has mentioned it here

La+ accidentally triggered it because the Hololive app console works through the cloud and all people with access to it can access other member's models and costumes
That's a pretty stupid oversight if true.
One of my personal faves
Ha, I remember seeing this clip now. That's great. If it really all is just kayfabe, good on her.

Speaking of which, remember Atom and Evelyn from earlier in this thread? The concept is that it's a male streamer, but his model was a mute scientist girl with a cat on her shoulders, and he voiced the cat who had been given the ability to speak by the scientist. It's kind of a clever idea, but I tried watching one of his gaming streams once, and he kept talking about how he was playing the game, instead of staying in character and commenting on how his human was playing. I think it could have been really clever if he was able to stay in character as someone watching a human playing and cheering her on or teasing her when she fails, but he was just making no effort to do that. Kinda disappointing that a clever conceit is going to waste like that.

Pippa's 2 view channel gets about the same viewers as her corp one. At least when I've caught streams (she probably did get a big bump from people who found her from going corp). What it doesn't have is YouTube simps willing to drop red super berries.

This was my initial thought, but the way Nagzz speaks implies that he was just using them as an example of a company that has given him express permission to react to their content, back when they made the first rounds in Late 2020/Early 2021. In other words, there's no real evidence that AnyColor have gone BACK and asked them to make content again, or even contacted them recently as Nagzz said he got their permission 'a while ago'.

Nagzz already mentioned that after he finishes the series he is doing with Hololive he would move on to NijisanjiEN.
Honestly if you listen closely to how he talks about this, he comes off as slightly burned out by the 'Discovering [Holo]'. I think he's done all the ones he wanted to do, and the ones his guests (Koe and NBAF) were most excited for. I wonder if he just feels like he's committed to doing them all one after the other, and suddenly doing other companies would come off as disrespectful to the ones left.

When there is a company that has a huge control of a market it is really hard that any change will come "organically".
I don't want to get too hung up on this because I find the jab kind of ridiculous, but 'organic' and 'inorganic' growth are terms that are being used incorrectly in this thread.

People coming to Nijisanji as a result of paid sponsorships is a form of organic growth, whether people like it or not. People have independent thought to say to themselves 'I didn't know about Enna, but she's fucking funny. I'll subscribe and see what's going on'. Money being exchanged between hands doesnt really affect that, because you could watch another 1,000 Raid Shadow Legends ads and still never touch it.

Inorganic growth is something like Nijisanji purchasing Phase Connect. The rabbit is now under the rainbow banner. If you donate to her, 30% of it is going to Anycolor. There is nothing you can do about this. If you want to continue supporting a Blizzard game, you've had to also support Activision with your cash because they were bought out. That is inorganic.

Neither of these types are inherently negative, but what is being described here is aggressive marketing, which is a discussion that has been done to death regarding Niji in the EN space. None of this is new news.

I remember thinking the model idea was genius, but I never considered that kayfabe scenario. Sounds like a great idea, it's possible he never considered that either, might be worth pitching the idea.

Off-topic, but I remember Pekora showing that she had Fortnite installed on her PS5 and was waiting for permissions maybe 6 months ago. Sadly we didn't get any Fortnite content.

Sadly?

People want fortnite anything? Isn't it like Apex but outdated and inferior.
