That's what they (not just Ethan) do all of the time with things because the people who are strongly on their side will go along with it (pandering to their base.) The people who are kind of on their side will probably not look in to what actually happened, and since the media and social media is already pretty much in lockstep with the crazier people (or at least all too eager to pander to them) they're already distorting things the same way.

It's not a thing they do just to Rogan (who every sane person that's even somewhat familiar with him knows is just a stoner with no real extreme convictions,) obviously, they do it to everyone. If you're against vaccine mandates they say that you're against science and that you think there are 5G microchips in the vaccine. If you're for reduced immigration they go out and paint you as someone who wants to shoot brown children in the face as they're being birthed. If you're against what these CRT activists preach, you clearly just want to ban people from learning that slavery was a thing in the US.

Ethan's butt buddy Hasan Piker is the type of person who does that routine so it's no wonder that Ethan increasingly does it too. It's easy to get those super chats and validation from retards, and especially so when the platforms are backing you unless you do something truly dumb (and even then you just get a slap on the wrist to try to show how they're "impartial.")

I mean you can attack Joe on Vax mandates and still portray him that way without lying about him being staunchly for healthy not as risked men getting the Vax because they're less likely to get it, he'll you can even attack him on that if you just tell the truth about it being a dumb offhand d comment with no real conviction and not made woth intent at authority or to inform or with the intent of it being taken seriously as advice. Besides the fact that Ethan can't be bothered to clean up the ball pit (??) in what appears to be a giant closet (???), it's actually a pretty decent interview and it's probably the best Ethan has looked in a while imo. It ends with Ethan starting a go-fund me for the dude to get skin removal surgery and pledging 5k towards it, which is nice. Curious why he's rebranding this though, I wonder if this is going to be some sort of segue away from having an entire crew - if this picks up, he may realize he can do better content for far less money from within his giant closet. There doesn't seem to be any central unifying theme around the content here and he hasn't talked about it much as far as I can tell, though it was created back in July of 2021.

People don't understand how anti depressant medication is supposed to work.

You consult your doctor, your doctor will give you something based on your severity of depression. You need to take it for at least two months for your body to get use to it.

You should be communicating with your doctor over these months to let them know how you're doing with it.

Some meds will actually make you happy. Some meds will just block out that part of your brain that tells you you want to kill yourself.

The common side effect for anti depressants are to kill your sex drive, regardless if you're a man or a woman.

Depression isn't a choice, contrary to what many people believe. Being depressed and being sad are two completely different things.

Depression is your brain not having the chemicals. That never goes away. You either learn to live with it or you medicate yourself.

It is up to you to communicate with your doctor that the drug you're taking isn't working for you. If you have a good and competent doctor they will work with you. Getting the right drug takes time and it's hard to have your body and mind go through all these changes.

The fact that he's just okay with all those fucked up side effects just shows you how much he truly cares about himself.

Sorry for the double post but I've recently gone through all this stuff with anti depressants and they really do work but it does take time and work to find the right one. No one's depression is the same which means you really don't know what the drug will do until you take it for awhile.
