Russia has begun moving large amounts of supplies and troops into Belarus for a "training summit".

To be fair, Stirol was so lackadaisical with their chemical supply, it's a miracle that Horlivka wasn't gassed years ago. It was breathing ammonia for years before the war.
That's true, and that's what makes the chemical false-flag/attack/accident narrative (from whichever side you look at it) so believable. Could go either way with this, still no real evidence outside chatter.

that whole area is toxic dump zone. There were a few mines with toxic/radioactive shit in them that had pumps working 24/7 and with general fuck-it attitutude they are flooded and all the crap flows with underground water toward Rostov.

Russian blitzcrieg in action, because no one can fuck Ivan in asshole like Ivan can do himself.

WW III? Let's goooooo!

An interesting tid-bit around that. When China-USSR went hot over some piece of shit tiny island on Amur river that no one cared about, Chruschev 100% was going with tactically nuking chinks in a limited fashion. Mao legit pooped him pants and even in the capital they were making nuclear shelters and tunnels. Supposedly Nixon warned Russki that even a tactical nuke use would essentially mean WWIII, although China's nuclear arsenal was not even on the map yet, so it was basically just US posturing for whatever effect (proly to break up Chink-USSR love) Chruschev did back down and tactical nukes that were loaded and ready to go were moved back.

Something tells me that among world's elites, the tacit agreement is to not use tactical nukes or take land, because WWIII would be really bad for everyone, not just millions of sheep dying.

That might have something to do with these:

And for what it's worth, according to German foreign minister Baerbock: 'We will do our all to guarantee Ukraine's security'.

Biden was, but he doesn't remember how to take a shit by himself anymore.

Which is why I think even though Putin does remember, he's banking on American indecision & lack of meaningful reaction because there's a bunch of empty suits sitting at the helm. Which would honestly be for the best, in terms of overall life saved; sucks for Ukraine, but it's probably time to make nice with your cousins & forget about NATO & the EU.

And in any case, we won't be able to ship weapons to a Ukrainian insurgency, and neither will any of our proxies; so we won't be able to pull off anything like Syria or Libya.

I still can't see Putin taking Kiev, because I can't fathom why the Russians want that headache, but I suspect if the Russian elements currently in Belarus somehow are apart of a Russian effort to annex the entire Ukrainian state, or at least impose a Russian puppet in western Ukraine, the Poles and Baltics would flip their shit.

If Russian T72s start rushing for Kiev, I wouldn't be shocked to see the Polish Army crossing the Ukrainian frontier to bolster UA defenses. That sort of conflict would have to bring the French along for the ride at the very least, much less the Americans.

I'm really hoping this is just a slick maneuver to encircle and destroy the Ukrainian Army and their shitty Maginot Line wannabe defenses.

pretty much yeah

germany will do a lot of posturing but at the end of the day the only thing they'll actually do is make new economic sanctions. in military terms they're a complete non factor.
And jeapordize Nordstream 2? I think you overestimate their spine. Germany can't not freeze to death without Russian help.

I’ve never seen so many fat, sweaty HOI/EU4-playing neckbeards in one thread creaming their pants over something that isn’t even going to happen.
OK, there's this site you need to hear about, it's called "Reddit..."

nah i think economically EU is in a much stronger position than russia.
russia is extremely dependent on energy and resource exports to keep its economy running, and EU is its biggest customer. eurotards won't actually freeze to death, they'll suffer energy price spikes but they can manage that. russia on the other hand could not manage a trade boycott from the EU without collapsing.

Western Ukraine will be a challenge. Post WWII half of Soviet NKVD was tied up chasing those assholes around mountains, with a whole lot of unapologetic brutality on each side, well into 1950s. When Bily came to Chechnya to re-open his blood feud account by demoing how to kill Russians, Chechens worshiped him like a living god and named streets of Grozny in his name, and that's a lot of recognition coming from savages who slit throats of POWs as a norm.

French spend half of their budget building Maginot lines, and that's considering that they only spent 2.5-3x what Germany spent (while being restricted on military expenses) I'm not seeing those lines.

EU already pays 7x what chinese do for Russian gas, which makes a lot of American and other LPG pretty reasonable alternative. The whole "this winter they will freeze without our gas" has been around every winter for like a decade. It's way beyond old of a threat. EU also has very large gas storage capacity and LPG terminals. The only way Eurocucks will freeze is because of the feelings of shame for white privilege and releasing CO2. They got plenty of gas, so much that sell it back to Ukraine at actually cheaper price than what those paid to their Russian "brothers".

The Russia-NATO talks are turning bad. The next package of sanctions include disconnecting Russia from SWIFT which would collapse that economy. It's probably just a threat, because US was used it before, although not as frequently as "you'll freeze" threat.

Lavrov has been throwing around threats like "we have been very patient, but the time to saddle the horse is over and now we ride fast", funny considering that Lavrov looks like a fucking horse himself. Still, probably just threats.
