You joke, but in my experience Muslims I know, especially younger ones, have a much easier time understanding a gay relationship than they do trans issues. Granted, the people I'm thinking of are westernized second generation, but they can understand a stable relationship with one other person a lot more than the dudes who abandon their families to live out the fantasy of being a woman.

This is actually a pretty common way that gay relationships were interpreted (including medieval Muslim societies, and it's somewhat the case in the moral rural areas of Brazil today). The man being penetrated (anthropologically, they used to call it the berdache role), was viewed as analogous to woman sexually, and there was the knock on effect of being considered a slut if they were known to be generally receptive to advances.

I always preferred the Japanese onna-girai (lit. woman hater) as an example myself. It's probably one of the closest examples to the modern gay identity that existed. I can't remember what anime it was, but I know that there was one that used the term and a bunch of idiot wokescolds thought it meant the character was a misogynist.

Since I'm the one who brought it up- Larry had trans leanings (allegedly) since childhood, but in the early 2000's after he became a millionaire off the success of The Matrix, he started frequenting LA sex dungeons obsessively and quickly became embroiled in a love affair with Ilsa Strix. He liked to wear women's underwear and be humiliated and tortured for hours. Obviously, it tore apart his nine year marriage . I'm not saying Ilsa is some evil woman who single handedly destroyed his mind and forced a transition he would have otherwise never done- but Ilsa's previous partner was Buck Angel, a FtM pornstar, and Larry started transitioning and appearing more feminized at premieres once they got together. Ilsa is clearly no stranger to outlier gender and sexual relationships. I think at the very least she indulged his fetish and brought it to new heights. And I think if he's a submissive into hours long disassociative humiliation and torture sessions with a sprinkling of genderfuck, he probably feels a lot of euphoria being a lesbian with his dominatrix.

Andy is a fat bald man in a wig, I assume his egg was indeed cracked by his "sister". He didn't transition until 2016.

The thing that gets me with these sob stories is, what if he's just an unpleasant person to be around. Like, would a cis women be able to scream discrimination if a group of work colleagues excluded her? So often these people are basically demanding friendship from women in their lives. HR mandated girlpals, under threat of disciplinary action.
