What are you playing right now?

Playing some GG Accent Core + R while I wait till 28th for the addition of Bacon to Strive. By the looks of it she got a buff. Impressive anti projectile padding.

Not much of a Strive guy but the tether stuff looks strong. Hope she tears shit up in the coming months
Someone reminded me so I hopped back on Tribes 2. Man, brings back memories.

A lot of people online nowadays know Tribes through Ascend but don't realize the sheer fun of the Torque engine. You could literally have maps that took hours to cross. That combined with numerous easily-made mods (such as The Construction Mod, which is a predecessor to shit like Garry's Mod for HL2), made for some fun times.

Feels like I completely missed out when I started with ascend. Seeing some of those tribes 2 lobbies years down the line leave me in envy.

OT: Blazblue Central Fiction has kept my attention since the rollback beta. Great game overall that I'm glad to now lab and run sets in for hours. Its definitely one of my favorites now after not being into the series since the beginning of CS.

Modern fighters haven't been clicking with me so bbcf is a good stopping point until kof xv release.

World of Warcraft, SWTOR, and the entire Fable series

I bought Squad and Hell Let Loose recently because I hate myself and want to give up what remains of a social life. I basically just play for like 30 seconds until I get domed from across the map by a 12 year old who thinks shouting "nigger" into the mic is funny and then spend another 30 seconds waiting to respawn. 10/10, highly recommended.

I tried playing squad lead in both and I got yelled at so much that now all I do is play squad lead. Oh you think you can do a better job than me, grunt? Just for that I'm not placing the spawn point I don't know how to place anyway. You're taking a walk, private. See you in 15 minutes.

Playing through Prey 2017 and its fucking great, its basically System Shock 3 for all intents and purposes which is right up my alley. Really enjoying exploring the levels and hunting down different resources and stuff, tinkering with skills and upgrades and soaking up the atmosphere. Surprisingly enough it runs great on my old ass laptop which is a bonus. Only real annoyance is the enemy design - most of them have this annoying phasing ability and move around far too much so I end up running in circles like a spaz.

I had a look and it seems to have got middling reviews when it came out and some pajeet at gamespot even gave it a 6? The game journo never ceases to amaze me. I guess they are too used to giving glowing reviews to every brainless COD game that gets shit out and when they come across one that require the use of your brain it short circuits them.

Yeah Strive is a bit basic compared to previous entries.

I tried the original version of Human Revolution on a whim a few years ago and loved it so much I got every single achievement, which I rarely ever go for.
Same here! I never care about achievements unless a game enters my personal hall of fame, which HR absolutely did:heart-full:
I stopped playing Mankind Divided after the first level. Hated how they went from the dark futuristic nighttime atmosphere of the first game to doing missions and running around in broad daylight right off the bat. I want to give it another try someday, but IDK, I've never really heard anyone say anything good about it haha.
You did the right thing, I'm assuming you stopped playing after seeing the ugly hub town? Those NPCs give some serious Sonic 06 jank vibes lol. As far as the story goes, they butchered every single detail from the previous game in favour of muh apartheid and a shallow, disjointed new plot that ends like a wet fart. I have so many gripes with MD but I won't go into them to avoid posting a wall of text, so I'll just say this: When I wasn't rolling my eyes at the bad writing, I was in awe at the sheer amount of bugs and broken shit I witnessed unfold before me. 'Disappointed' doesn't even begin to cover my hatred for this shitty game. Oh and btw I went into MD blind, I didn't follow/know of the outrage and controversy surrounding its marketing/release until I looked it up after finishing it, so my rage comes purely from being a HR fan.

Daemon x Machina and Project Zomboid. But mostly been FFXIV.

Trying to prog Asphodelos Savage in party finder is painful. You go in not knowing the fight and get someone who gets pissed off that they're not reaching a certain mechanic in a party that's progging from start, after a while you finally get that experience under your belt, so you find a party that is targetting a specific mechanic and end up in a party with someone so clearly very far behind the rest of the group.

When I did P1S one of our DPS was insistent that they couldn't return to the same square they started on. Even though we explained that they could flip colour with south panel if they had to.

playing some mobile games like arknights, and non mobile games like MHRise, Daemon x Machina and some Warzone, really just waiting for the 8th till Lost Ark

Little Dragon Cafe. Whoever did the translation for this must be the same guy(s) that translated Rune Factory 4. Especially the metalhead ghost part. I love that ghost. The lazy elf musician is great, too.

Anyway, cute game about raising dragons and solving problems with good food. Controls are a bit wonky but it could just be my Switch. Not really a problem outside of the rhythm-based cooking minigame. I've had inputs get outright ignored when using ingredients with higher quantities of musical notes. Fuck those notes that require perfection that just can't happen with an inconsistent framerate. Had I known one big part of the game was hindered by the Switch version's performance issues, I'd have waited for a Steam sale.

Currently trying Warno, which is the spiritual successor to Wargame, and honestly a bit meh. Obviously it's still in early access (luckily I got a free key, otherwise would not be buying), but I'm not convinced all of the issues can be solved. Some of the design choices are just fucking bad, the UI in places is dogshite, and unit balancing/pricing looks like it was done by a fucking drunk. Shit like why a rocket armed Apache is only 20pts more than a rocket armed Cobra, despite being infinitely better, makes zero fucking sense.
My one hope for this game is that unlike Wargame it's getting actual modding support. Despite the lack of proper tools there were some surprisingly cool mods for Wargame so I'm hoping with actual modding support we get some good shit. I still play modded Wargame now and again, because some of the moremodern ones are even crazier (trying to stop tank hordes without ATGM spam thanks to APS everywhere is an interesting exercise)

Fuck all at the minute, can I get a recommendation for a good RPG, last one i really enjoyed was Tyranny. I was looking at the new pathfinder but im dubious on it.

Blasphemous, Skul and Dead Cells, the first two being games I didn't expect to like much but got really attached to, specially Blasphemous, that has a great OST, and Dead Cells is Dead Cells.

Planescape Torment on the switch... I know, I have no honor
You're in for a good time. Assuming you're fine with mostly reading at least.

In the future, if you ever get the PC version, there's some fan patches that add in cut content.

EDIT: Still playing Left 4 Dead 2. It honestly is impressive how easy it is to screw up and potentially fuck over your team. It's something that made me salty in the past, but now I see it all as a hallmark of great game design. There's barely any other co-op game which emphasizes total cooperation as much as this game does, and the vast majority of them are also done by Valve or someone working with them.

I think the E.E. added some of the "unfinished business" but I'm no sure if it covers everything.

About the switch version, I usually like reading through games, but Avellone writing is fucking text heavy, and It's not aliviated by the tiny font text displayed on the switch. Nonetheless, the story is a very interesting journey. I decided to role my character mainly as a diplomat and a mage as a side effect. Somehow I ended up being lawful good lol, and I haven't joined any faction just to stay on a neutral ground. I just left Sigil and I'm on the Fallout-esque town. I don't really recommend playing it on Switch, but portability can really change the nature of a man

You made me install L4D2 again, thank you

Its pretty funny how every other L4D like game doesn't feel as good to play, maybe I'm just too picky

Three. Fucking. Years.
(not my footage of course, and I also used the spread gun not the E cannon)
Took me that long to beat this boss, but I finally, FINALLY did it. God, Super Cyborg is the perfect NEStalgia itch scratcher.

We need a faithful Arcanum remake so badly
I like the idea of a remake over say another game set in the same world. I'm running the Drog Blacktooth mod expansion and there is so much more to the game than I remembered.
Since your playing through Planescape have you thought of playing Torment after? If you haven't played it yet I highly recommend.
