I dunno. I'm not a lawyer. But driving them out is really the only sensible option. Probably have to have a week of city council meetings and lawyers round tables about liability and special emergency orders for them to do it. But, yeah. It could be a thing.

How that stops trucks from coming back or just jamming up some other part of the city is the real problem though.

The city is playing commercial vehicle whack-a-mole but aren't fully aware of it yet. Maybe Sloly and that one Italian guy on the council are. But the rest are completely clueless.

The weird part is that they don't "worship" any particular thing. Like, they clearly idolize politicians and doctors now; but no single one as if they're a unified cult.

I fully agree that their behavior is falling further and further into straight cult shit, but at the same time, their masks slip so often and they reveal what they are underneath that I can't help but wonder if their belief is just an act. They have enough awareness to try and paint their actions as moral instead of just outright worshipping the state; the election-rigging policy in the US is called the "Voter Rights Act." And they still pretend to fight racism because they know racism in the West was socially unacceptable for a time.

It's like when you see a hardcore Leftie "man" shitting on incels to get with chicks; why does he do that? Is it because he genuinely hates incels, or is it because he's acting in a way that he expects to be rewarded?

These are such ridiculous childish drama queens. They are laser focused on Ottawa because the honking pierces their hearts personally. Not a thought in the world about the international situation at the actual border and billions of trade being impacted.

It's a working theory and I'm more than willing to amend it as further observations are made but it's a general pattern of behavior that I've noticed.

because of the focus on Ottawa they seem to be overlooking that some of the major arteries between the USA and Canada are literally blockaded
can somebody who knows better explain how fucked things are from "sorta not good" to "SHIT'S FUCKED, BRAH"
like, I'm no statecraft-ologist or anything but I'm pretty sure "just don't get blockaded, bro" was a big protip for a while

I'm replying to this super late, but I actually have followed this guy on socials for a while, and he is in my province. My province is the only one in Canada that allows people who are vaccine-free to participate in society, although they are assumed sick until proven healthy and have to undergo paid testing every 72 hours to do things like go to a cafe.
And that is the funniest part... if you break it down logically, MikesBloggity would actually be much safer in a restaurant full of un-"vaccinated" people as they would have recently had to have proven themselves not to be carriers. The opposite is true of vaxxies. They can be as contagious as they like, as long as they show a QR code they can surround him, maskless, happily stuffing their faces with food and drink. Poor dude is totally hypnotized and has lost all capacity for logical thought (if he ever had it).

If he listened, he'd know how many of these people have nothing to go home to. I'd love to see Trudeau tell one protester after another that they should have just been more compliant...
