For this reason, I'm more of an Ottawalks fan myself. He tends to keep his comments to a minimum and the focus remains on the scene being recorded. His set up is pretty solid so the footage isn't shaking all over the place and the sound quality isn't a garbled mess. I think that they're finally easing into trying to make this a racial thing too which was always going to be the plan anyway; if there's one thing that Canadians and Americans have in common it's a a religious urge to make the white guy the devil especially if it can be used to push a political agenda. Right now it's mostly the news trying to play up accusations of anti-Semitism around those who make yellow stars of David/Holocaust analogies while making sure to present it like the protestors are making claims that would clearly be far more insidious than what's happening.

The newest big talking point is over the money being raised. It's very clear that they're going with the "American far-right" play and I imagine that "muh Russia" will increase as a boogeyman especially as there's a relatively large Ukrainian population in Canada.

I've been getting that impression too. But I think people even IN media (and govt) are noticing this happening, they're just too afraid to speak out because you know... the nail that sticks out gets hammered down.

For example this just happened today:

Nothing he said was unreasonable, but he got booted.
The media has been given a set of talking points from on high - maybe just govt, maybe higher if you put your tinfoil on - and they're not going to deviate unless more people like that guy keep speaking out. And the trucker situation is accelerating people that WILL speak out. It's pretty clear that it's a boiling point. The cops are obviously trying to push someone into doing something stupid so they can paint the whole movement with it, but so far the truckers are smart enough to keep it happy, peaceful, and focused on community. The media latches onto everything and they've barely had any "content" for like the whole 2 weeks lol. If they can keep it that way, I really think more and more people in media will break from the programming.

Here's a blogpost by a data scientist with the govt who went out and spent some time with the truckers as well that's extremely good:
