Reading the reply tweets to that is utterly wild. You see the basic “I’m so sorry, sending hugs!” stuff, but then there’s also these rabid “I would spilled my coffee all over his face!” lunatics. It’s bizarre - that person was being nice. They held the door for that guy, and the ‘misgendering’ was extremely casually and was not done as an intentional insult or maliciously. It’s like these crazies don’t realize that everyone - trans or not - gets ‘misgendered’ by accident at least several times in their life because people aren’t robots and mistakes happen, especially when someone doesn’t know you personally. That said, reading all those weirdos violent fantasies at what they’d like to do to a kind man who held open the door for that TiM was unintentionally hilarious, because they’re all so obviously overreacting, and most likely cowards to boot. It’s hilarious to see all these ‘tough guy’ replies to something as minuscule as being called ‘sir’ off-handedly as part of a random act of courtesy, when those same people are reacting to someone calling another person ‘sir’ as though it was a kick to the balls. Just…wow.

This might be a little OT, but the MTF that was on My 600 lb. life (Destinee) has passed away, rumor being suicide. That alone is unsurprising, but it actually seems like he had detransitioned? His facebook lists him as Matthew Ventress, the eulogies from his friends and families call him 'brother' and use male pronouns. He did still dress as a woman on occasion, but it seems pretty clear he was living everyday life as a dude.

Been curious what would happen to someone in his shoes for a while, and it looks like every article assumes he's still trans (or intentionally ignores the evidence indicating otherwise). Not surprising.

The “women are emotional” thing only works when you conveniently decide not to count anger and displays of it as emotion. When most douchebros talk about “emotion” they almost always mean female-coded emotions; their emotional reactions (punching walls, losing their temper, starting fights) don’t count.

In reality, women tend to cry easier than men and men tend to fly off the hook easier, and in normal people it evens out, we are all messy creatures.

Superficially I think hormone treatment does make a difference when it comes to trans people (crying more easily/being unable to cry) but fundamentally most trannies of both sexes react stereotypically for someone of their sex; and not only that, like an immature person of their sex.

I don’t personally see much I would consider “batshit” mostly virtue signaling on social media. Men have not been giving up any positions of power for wokeness.

Also the significant portion that “hated being men” hated being men for incel reasons or fetish reasons or both.

And I'm not saying they're giving up positions of power, they're just moving the power somewhere else. Why do you think they love calling people terfs and transphobes and dox people?
