It's amazing how small this has been in mainstream media. I browse my headlines when I'm bored at work and it's surprising how little this stuff pops up. Like, it's there, you're not barred from finding it - case in point, I'm here - and the evidence is all out there but the newsfeeds are curated away from it. Doesn't matter where you search or look, there is bias everywhere.

It's especially weird considering if you're even caught with something that could be construed as a weapon here you'll probably be charged, so these cops are way overdressed for the occasion. What are they expecting, someone to pull out a box cutter from Staples?

Yes the streamers didn't catch it, but most of the Trucks left, and the CBC had great shots of it.

I'll see if I can find the main shots i'm thinking of off their Youtube channel.

It's hard to say what's left right now but we should take stock.

Yes, and when everything is reduced to mere chance conglomerations of material stuff, it's that much easier to stack people up like cordwood. There's a sort of grinding inevitability to the logic of evil that scares the shit out of me. It's all very simple, reductive and seductive.

Ski goggles do not protect against flashbangs. Auto-Darkening welding goggles may work, but I've obviously never tested them against a flashbang.

Every politician wannabe reads The Prince by Niccolo Machiavelli at some point, and Trudeau obviously didn't pay attention. Machiavelli clearly states several times, that if you're going to kill a bunch of your citizens, you have to kill them all at once and then immediately promise the surviving population that the purges are over. If you kill them in smaller groups, it's going to take a lot longer, and the population will get so anxious because they're afraid they might be next, they're just gonna say Fuck It and come after you with everything they've got.

Not finishing the protests was a mistake, but the freezing bank accounts is the actual REAL mistake. Trudeau is forcing the entire country to wonder if they might be next to get their money shut off, and this is the modern equivalent of being executed. Freeland just said that they're going to make this law permanent, and even the BLM supporters are now screaming WTF because any idiot can see that this tactic will be used on the next group and the next group and so on, etc.

So I didn't hear anyone actually say this so this is my assumption/projection, but I THINK what was happening was that the foot protesters were blocking the trucks in hopes that they could out-wait the police. There was no other plan. It was just maybe the cops will give up and we'll keep this going for another day, more people will come down to party and reinforce it, possibly to wait for the "vote" on the emergency act.
Unfortunately a good chunk of the truckers left of their own will earlier. They've been slowly leaving one by one since, the ones left now are the most hardcore I guess.
