Is there a

True, but think about it... If it were to happen: if it worked out, and somehow like 5 years down the track Ukrainians remained independent... The US would be looking ok.

If it didn't, they just say wtf russia y u always lying
The thing is, it wouldn't work out. It's impossible that the drones could turn the tide because drones are only effective if you have air supremacy. The only thing that would be accomplished is killing a couple dozen Russian soldiers, several billion dollars being wasted, and a monumental embarrassment for the US as Russia would knock several drones out of the sky and could collect the scrap as trophies.

People, why do you think Putin is not utilizing all his military advantages?

It's kind of surreal seeing that the Russians are limiting themselves considering that they are betting their own future on this war
I see this as early days, probe attacks to the capital and gradual advances from the border in most sectors. These probe attacks are coming close to winning the war. I might be wrong, but it seems to show the Russians have certainly learned lessons.

Have you seen General Miley
Yeah I know. Obviously terrible, and actually far more serious than some token troons. It's not good and all this faggotry is not a good forebear of things to come. But I'm not going to write-off the US military as a functional apparatus because of that.

EDIT: I guess I'm still just slightly optimistic.
Ok now NATO is getting serious, Putin better watch out.

God fucking damn it Nato.

Turkish drone doctrine doesn't seem to work against a European military.

I would say slavs are the kebabs of europe, but isn't western europe gonna be mostly kebabs eventually?
i really hope western europe stops letting russians in. Fucking ruskies always screaming about "muh nationalism" but millions of them still prefer to clean a toilet in Sevilla or prostitute their gfs in a corner anywhere in western europe rather than stay in their hellhole.

I'm hearing Ukrainian reports of 22 russian tanks blown up near or in Mariupol. Supposedly according to its mayor. https://twitter.com/Guderian_Xaba/status/1497213669444304903?s=20&t=T-iMrDkfJVWeHqJqAAJxxw

It seems unlikely to be accurate.
He reported 15 yesterday. So if it's 22 it would be consistent at least. But yea, none of these reports are worth shit currently. But it'll be interesting to go back and compare the final numbers to the ones reported early.

To be fair from what I have observed, India is an interesting ally if not tentative one to the USA and the West. They hate China however they have always had deals with Russia in terms of buying weapons and other things. This news honestly doesn't really surprise me.
Fun fact that most people don't know: India used to be much closer to the USSR than the USA.

Ukrainians are reporting that they've taken Moscow and defeated the entire Russian military - Putin is already preparing the noose in his bunker.
This is going to be the same as last night. Amerimutts and twitter waking up, suddenly stories of Russian forces being absolutely obliterated start popping up only to be walked back tomorrow morning.

Fair enough, makes sense! I was thinking more along the lines of some undercover shit, not necessarily though nato. It'd be a massive risk but tbh if russia said something along the lines of 'America unjustly attacked russia with with drone strikes, here's proof of one we took down', the western world wouldn't necessarily believe it (boy who cried wolf type shit)?

Its not that big of a risk. Its proxy war 101 for a non-involved major power to send specialists who advise and help train troops of a minor power when they are fighting someone they hate. I doubt the US is piloting the drones directly, but it wouldn't surprise me if the Ukrainian operators are being instructed by an American specialist.

Depends on what drones they send. There are different types for different operational environments.

Fair enough. I could personally understand that more so if the Ukraine (the drones) were attacking the motherland rather than defending a revealed section of the minimap... But totally get the cost thing either way, and my only doubt about something like that being possible / feasible (with my limited/no knowledge) is money too
