  • 🔧 At about Midnight EST I am going to completely fuck up the site trying to fix something.

Can we please stop preventing people from giving other people money? The "unbanking" shit is getting old. Just ask Null.
The Russian government isn't taking money via paypal. Normal little people who are doing business on Ebay are.
Remember, these are the same guys who will eagerly deplatform you when you run afoul of daddy gummint and they sic their propaganda on you.

"Combat tourism" is a thing.
Always has been, always will be. Every major conflict has people showing up and joining a side because they want to fight, and aren't even mercenaries. Hell, look back to Greco-Roman times and sometimes dudes would just be wandering nearby and decide to join a war, even if for just a few battles.

Guys just want to fucking fight for a cause sometimes and I don't have to agree with it to understand it.

Have you ever noticed how many Trump-hating liberals are really quick to call Trump a dancing prancing tra-la-la homo man whenever they get the chance? They keep demanding everybody wear masks, you think they'd be better at keeping theirs on.

They recently wrote an article basically saying owning a gun means you have a small cock, while encouraging minors in foreign lands like Ukraine to handle rifles banned by the NFA.

Do molotovs still work as an anti-tank weapon?
To disable it. You won't kill the guys inside I'd assume as they were meant to survive in NBC environments, but you'll kill the engine throwing petrol bombs on it, keep the crew inside and blind the periscopes. It's fucking risky but I wouldn't write out the Russians being stupid and driving tank near high rise buildings where they can get these rained down on them.

Pretty sure that was Hannibal at Cannae, a strategy that keeps getting reused in history (Gen. Schwarzkopf cites the battle as a major inspiration for Coalition battle plans in the Gulf War) . The middle of Alexander's army was made up of six massive pike blocks of foot companions; not their worst.
You are both wrong. It was Epaminondas of Thebes. The first recorded tactician who used an oblique order to decline his flank.
The elite in that battle were the Sacred Band. 150 pairs of warrior homos that were the best fighters of ancient Greece.

Akhmed Zakayev, the (self-declared) leader of the Chechen Republic of Ishkeria, the guys Russians fought the two Chechen wars against (essentially the Russian Taliban), has declared his support for Ukraine.

He's promising to form detachments of Chechen expatriates to send to Ukraine in return for official diplomatic recognition from the Ukrainian government.

It doesn't matter how many times I've seen it, I'm always blown away by just how eagerly the masses gobble up the laziest propaganda.

I think Darren Beattie was right. Cattle will always be cattle.
The sheer impatience and complete lack of comprehension is what gets me. "The Russians haven't taken Ukraine in 30 minutes, they must have lost". The same brainlet take 100 times when nobody has a single shred of verifiable info about the ground situation or Russian goals.
