No it isn't, because it drives them into the arms of China. Because of Russia's demographics, they will never pose half the threat that China does to US hegemony. Russia will be a third rate power for the foreseeable future, and if we want to stay on top of the pile we have to drive a wedge between them and China, giving Russia a pat on the head and some cookies every once in a while to keep them more on our side than on that of the Chinese. That means respecting their paranoia and letting them make oodles of money in Europe while the buffer states in Eastern Europe remain neutered and neutral. By sponsoring a coup on their doorstep and putting ever-deepening sanctions on them we have made them increasingly reliant on the only economically well-positioned nation with the wherewithal to ignore sanctions: the Chinese. It also makes us look incompetent to important Asian allies; we've egged Ukraine on and now don't have their back. What kind of message does that send to Japan, SK, or Taiwan, who all rely on our security umbrella and are crucial members of a balancing coalition against China?
I disagree. Now is a good time to have Russia test their relations with China because China is having issues of their own. Imagine what a country like Russia suddenly trying to lean on China would do.
Furthermore, China never helps any of its so-called allies. They don't even help their own people in crisis.

If Russia is drowning, let them drag China down too...that's if China even tries to help. If China turns a cold shoulder like they've done to NK in the past the Russians will get pissy.

They are? They are what? They are reliant on Russian gas? Never said they didn't, you are making up your own arguments in your head.

You learn Germany relies on their gas from Trump? Germany knew it themselves. Which was why they were reluctant at first, but the world is round and there are other methods to obtain gas & stuffs. Which is why decisions are changing.

SWIFT means nothing as much as Nato's defending Ukraine means nothing.... which means something. Which is why Putin has to throw a threat out there right? SWIFT was the clutch for Putin to hold them ransom. Stop thinking putin is playing 4D chess, his motives aren't brilliant, it's as transparent as his ego. If he were so smart, he'd ended the war already.

China ain't buddies with Russian, they just see them as another customer to fatten their pockets, and Russian would be dumb if they didn't realize that that wouldn't make them China's bitch after they are sanctioned to hell and back.

At the end of the day, Russia loses for everyday Ukraine is still standing. And when they have crushed Ukraine, they will be crippled with sanctions and their economies plunge even backwards. Then the next natural step is becoming China's bitch.

Putin's hope was going in, Ukraine surrender before Nato can come up with significant sanctions, and now Ukraine is part of Russia just like Crimea, and everyone back to business. That will show his big dick. Not fighting the entire Ukraine fighting him and inheriting a broken country with Russia being sanctioned with literally everything. But at this rate he can't back out, because that will only exposes his small dick.
I'm trying to understand this line of reasoning. Specifically the bolded part.

Why would NATO not impose sanctions for this, even when Putin achieves his objectives early and Ukrainians all capitulate on day 1? It never stopped them before, and I don't see how a few days difference in making Zelensky kneel will change the response the West will have to this.

When a shitty leader comes to power it is the people’s duty to remove that leader or face the consequences of their inactions.
And maybe call Avengers for help?
And if they hold hand their powerlevel will scare Putler to death.

Russia is not above genociding their own.

I have no idea where you live but i bet you should be up arms if you believe in what you are saying because surprise.

Every other country has bad leaders. Any "good" ones are just ones with good PR, fiction or already being planned to be disposed of.

Im talking to my Russians friends. На русский. They have no idea why this is happening or exactly what is happening.

Are your friends literal retards or is the internet in Russia filtered for all anti-goverment news like it supposedly is for those streamers I mentioned ?

How can they possibly not understand why this is happening considering recent history and the statements Putin and other's in the goverment have made over the years ?

I mean to be fair Ukraine is handling this way better than most expected. But I agree a lot of normies are suffering from brain rot and the current narrative would make them shocked that Russia won as opposed to more of a "well Ukraine gave it their best".
At the end of the day though I'll still be probably delusional about the Russian offensive stalling and Putin declaring victory because reasons and pulling out.
Either way if the Ruskies make it into Kiev it's going to be Fallujah on fucking crack.
Right, nobody (rational) is saying it's impossible. But there's no way to know yet. A stalled offensive means it's weeks or months off schedule. Anyone saying "oh Ukraine didn't collapse in 48 hours so obviously Russia lost" is a retard. Even if Russia ends up losing.

Every great enemy of the United States since World War II has been "new Hitler". New Hitler has become a secular devil that we must
all always unite to destroy.

If we don't fight him, the camps will be open again within weeks.

If we negotiate with him, it can only lead to a "Munich".

Any attempt to promote neutrality is "isolationism" which makes you Nazi Charles Lindburg and will lead to New Hitler marching into Paris

Since he is "New Hitler", any means of fighting in him are allowed. Law/morality/sense all go out the window because we are fighting New Hitler

The defeat of "new Hitler" is always followed by "denazification" where the defeated people are taught how to be good people.

We have all be united against "New Hitler" because anyone is isn't united in the effort is a freakin nazi.

It worked for Saddam Huessien then. It works for Putin now.

He is the Satan of the new religion. The same people who shrill and recoil about Hitler laugh at the concept of Satan.

BUT BUT BUT SANCTIONS TOTALLY WORKED WHICH IS WHY SADDAM'S MEN DIDN'T HAVE GAS FOR THEIR TANKS OR BULLETS AND THEY COULDN'T BUILD A ROBOTECH MECH!

Fuck, I want to slap every fucking faggot who says shit like that.

It goes:

Elite
Elite Trusted Military Units
Military
Workers
People

The top two NEVER get hit by the sanctions.

All sanctions do is make it so the people in the country have nothing to lose and might start thinking "You know, killing these assholes putting the sanctions on us just might work."
That is the story of the origins of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor when FDR decided Nippon was a bad boy for beating up the chinks for the lulz.

2. The propaganda system is running overdrive for Ukraine right now, to the point where anything that can be spun in even a remotely positive light for them is done so. Negative news is simply memory holed and ignored.

Well. One of the reasons for that is that literally anything that Ukraine says right now is absolutely accepted by the mainstream media. They will take anything
and report anything because their audiences at this point will accept anything and are eating it up. The tail is wagging the dog.
