I was always taught Chernobyl was the site of nuclear disaster that never got cleared up and since the plant was disassembled?
Really bad radiation decreases rapidly, and a massive cleanup has gone on. Shitting on the elephants foot would be a bad idea, but otherwise the area is pretty tame.

None of the remaining reactors are operational anymore. 4 Reactors at the site, and number 4 was the one that went into meltdown. Last operational one went offline in 2000 or 2001, I think. I'm sure there is still fissile material on site, as they're still decommissioning.

Are you an America? I know the goal is to keep Marines pissed off but I'm gonna sit by while foreigners bad mouth our guns.
I'm American. Did the Marines stop using M-16s? I know that they were still standard issue for the Corps after the army switched to M-4s. I think that the OP also intended to reference M2 Brownings, as in .50 BMG rather than M1. That is 1930s technology rather than 1980s, but you don't mess with perfection.

I've been drinking my coffee with my fellow bitchy cynic best friend and mocking the baizuo we know who suddenly have True and Honest Opinions about this conflict they knew fuck and all about last week. The "no borders, no war, nationalism bad" crowd turning on a dime to plaster their online presence with a foreign country's flag and competing to see who can be the most upset about this whole thing.

The Browning .50 BMG is still in service, at least in the USAF. Yeah they use it to secure airfields.

To this day Glocks still feel weird in my hand.

Then again I unironically like the XD/HS2000 so maybe I'm just a faggot.
Seems like every complaint I hear about the XD is a million theoretical arguments of how it COULD go wrong, but very few reports of it actually happening.

"Did anybody watch an irrelevant old crone on an irrelevant shitlib televangelist channel that gives safe harbor to sex pests?"
The problem with legacy stations like that is teleboomers slurp that shit up. The teleboomer mind is incompatible with a reality where the telescreen doesn't drip them teleboomer lies all day on the telly. They understand CNN hosts, viagra commercials, heart disease commercials, schizophrenia and bipolar drug commercials, and Applebees commercials in between air raid sirens in foreign countries. The teleboomer believes what the teleboomer sees on the telly simple as.

That is amazing.

I don't know about the Marines. Why would anyone be watching them when Navy Seals, Army Rangers and Green Berets are better at marketing themselves on YouTube
