Are these retards believe it will lube the bullets and gun barrels just right? Dolboebs...

Just now I was watching a Ukraine politician trying to get the US to enforce a no fly zone because you don't have to shoot planes down, its the 21st century so we can use a magnetic pulse and the plane just comes down, no problem. Even the Fox News anchor was like OK you guys have been brave but this is challenging, thanks for playing, bye!

Very strange story

What compels people to want to do this? These people don't even seem to have fucked up lives. I can understand some Walter White terminal cancer freedom fighter motivations but I don't understand wanting to die like this. Has life become so meaningless for people that they feel an urge to die in a war? It's a very interesting mindset.
>Wearing a mask while signing up to die
These niggers faint at the sight of a car accident, what make them think they can even function, let alone fight, in a real war?
I'm afraid that some of them honestly think they're too important to die. Like that's seriously their logic.

I think Pants hit the nail on the head. It's main character syndrome. These morons don't understand that they literally matter less than a sack of rocks in this conflict and they're complete dead weight and likely to die or desert fast and early. Just wait until your mercenary pal is reduced to chunks on the highway in the first 24 hours and it'll set in pretty quick that it's not glamorous.

As with all of history, war and conflict is romanticized beyond any reasonable measure and these fools eat it up. You're volunteering to be a pawn in a game for people with power beyond your understanding.

With respect, I think the point Melty is trying to make is that Russia is facing crippling sanctions that could affect combat operations. To the best of my knowledge, they didn't during the Chechnya thing. Not exactly the same situation.

Probably because nobody gives a fuck about militant durka durkas getting blown up. Hell, the US and NATO loves doing that too.

Now, as to whether the sanctions can eventually grind Putin's war machine to a halt. I can not say. Better question is whether Putin wants to go Grozny on Kiev. That was pretty brutal, and you aren't fighting the durka durkas anymore.
that's only if you believe the invasion wasn't planned out months ago, he's not buying ammo and shit on the go to send it out immediately. and as others have pointed out so far it's mostly old stuff getting banged up AND russia's pulling it's punches. for now any sanctions mean his soldiers can't watch capeshit anymore, big whoop. retards are going "oh noes, he totally didn't see the west sanction him to hell and back, they never did that before, how could they?!?". that's why any comments like "hurr russia's losing and imploding tomorrow" are retarded and peak reddit since it couldn't be more ignorant. did it go as well as putin hoped? probably not. is it as bad as anyone says? probably not either. could it become worse for everyone involved? definitely.

there's also the fact that the sanctions push him into a corner even further, right now the west is going all out and blowing their load over a conflict that is probably the most civil the world has ever seen, over a country no one gave a shit unless you're a corrupt politician to launder money, wanted to traffic some humans or slowly piss of russia.
so even if he goes full grozny (which I'd assume putin doesn't want either), what they gonna do, send more helmets? declare war?

Why is it controversial to say "Yes, it's not worth losing Boston to nuclear fire to save Vilnius"

Have you seen the palace he just built
Holy hell! I just looked up this palace. 7F04EA4A-D17F-469F-B99A-7E0551FE9FF5.jpeg
It’s value is estimated to be approximately 966 million USD.BD910271-7B04-41AD-B524-8027C4BB0FB7.jpeg
There is literally a Tweet that links to a Google Drive with nearly 500 leaked photos of the interior and exterior of this place.

Just look at some of the photos from this drive.1F34929A-0C47-442A-9C60-F39694F3845E.jpeg013926FD-6651-4E8B-A42C-0F7F8FA87E8E.jpeg4C3A190E-0C1F-4BBC-ADB4-1E7F8A8C42AA.jpeg

Whenever this conflict resolves, I highly doubt that Putin will be living peacefully in this palace (assuming he doesn’t get assassinated).

It took the horrors of Somme to shock the volunteers of World War I into the realities of industrial war. I have no doubt a similar reminder is long overdue at this point.
