I was reading "a piece of blue sky" a book by a former Scientologist on the group operates and the methods they use really reminded me of Phil. Well to be fair, he DOES need a distraction from a certain recent event. I mean what else is he going to do? Throw away all that gacha money by ripping into OIC for being a traitor, like he wants to? I constantly give Phil shit for not being willing to make a sacrifice to get out of a situation he doesn't like, but I still acknowledge the pickle he's in at any given moment. It's his fault, sure, but that doesn't change the fact that Phil is constantly faced with a choice between the lesser of two evils, and this is no exception. In fact it's the worst one he has to deal with long-term, because his lifestyle is getting changed if OIC leaves him, but also suffers with him around. He hates both, and there's no third option for him. It's either put up with him being a liability, or lose that money forever.

Whining about a fucking sandwich AGAIN, and enduring the dunking that's inevitable, is way better than letting his emotions loose on the thing that bothers him more. In fact I dare say that the reason Phil appears to not let such things go, is because bitching about a fast food chain is safer than ranting about Leanna, not being able to use the n-word, and having to rely upon a pack of retarded problem children so he can maintain his shitty lifestyle. I'm sure we can all agree that Phil is way more pissed off about any of those things than he is a fucking sandwich, and has way more to worry about if he gives into that.

I'm sure Phil's AUTHENTIC Italian restaurant would curbstomp Burger King...provided that Phil, you know, did the following:

• Hired competent staff
• Paid staff according to their roles
• Didn't raid the cash register at the end of each night to play WWE Champions
• Bought ingredients that made sense, and didn't throw out half of them at the end of the day
• Worked to advertise his restaurant properly
• Endeared himself to the community to build up support, rather than relying on "friends" to constantly be coming by to buy his food
• Openly criticize customers who had legitimate complaints about the food or service
• Didn't drink on the job
