Putin's PR problem with the West is that he started a conflict for mundane land dispute/NATO border/other boring normal reasons to start wars. He should have declared Ukraine existential GigaHitler threats to Our Democracy , probably on the verge of blowing up the planet or worse, making a troon uncomfortable. Nobody, even the pro-Ukraine western media is saying that the Russians won't win militarily eventually. But if you think this progress is all "part of the plan" you're nuts. As I've said many times before, NATO is taking note. Your army would be halfway back to the Urals if they fought this fight against NATO. It'd be a turkey shoot.

No one even remotely level headed expected Russia to have a chance against NATO even before this invasion. That's the major reason for why Russia is so buttbasted about Ukraine making overtures about joining NATO.

Didn't stuxnet have to be physically installed into the Iranian nuclear facility? I mean, i always assumed nuclear shit was air gapped at the very least.

IIRC they dropped a bunch of USB sticks in the parking lot of the facility. Eventually some less than thoughtful employee took one inside and put it into a computer to check the contents (presumably to return it to whomever had dropped it).

In a week proUkraine talking points will say that Ukraine is composed entirely of paraplegic women and that the fact that Russia did not reach Kiev, capture Zelensky, secure every military base, checkpoint, and every kilometer of the Ukrainian border within 2 hours of the operation starting being proof that Russia's military is weak and shitty.

LARPing as though Russia has achieved any of its initial objectives becomes sillier with every passing day. You are a joke and no one who matters shares your opinion, including Russia, which is why their order of battle has changed multiple times and Putin has had to abandon civilian-sparing strategies for the Syria playbook.
Russia has performed so poorly that their biggest cheerleaders (US defense analysts, who fantasize about Russia being a superb threat the US can't match, please spend more money on defense) have begun damage control and blaming external factors... when in reality the quality of Russian hardware, the quality of Russian recruits, flaws in Russian doctrine, weak morale/propaganda, administrative malfeasance, and inexperience with multi-domain operations perfectly explain why Russia is throwing away hundreds of unnecessary troops, armor, and aircraft on an operation that would be trivial for fucking India, let alone Turkey or Germany.
