Front vehicle looks like (what used to be) a BMD, so yeah VDV, though it looks like it has one too many road wheels so I'm not 100% sure. It's being humped by the burned out remains of a BTR-80 which while not necessarily an air-droppable vehicle, I do believe is used by the VDV.

Yeah, I don't think Putin should build bridges with the West, but if he wasn't so needlessly aggressive, Russia would be in a much better position, Russia's GDP Per Capita hadn't yet recovered from the sanctions put on Russia for Crimea back in 2014, and now he's pulling this stunt.
