I'm eagerly waiting for the shitfest that will come if those idiots really go to Ukraine. Twitch streamers getting kidnapped and asked ransom for, getting killed, trying to play war-hero but running away screaming at the first shots (and showing the world the humiliating footage just to prove that "they've been in a warzone"), etc.
I have to agree with other users, though: those people on reddit will never go to Ukraine. They're probably larping as war heroes, getting all geared-up, and then backing down when they get a hint of how bad is life in a warzone.
Not to mention that a lot of those people would probably be worthless in a war scenario: grown up sheltered, surrounded by comfort, touched a weapon only at the shooting range. Not to mention that they don't have the motivation that drives Ukrainians to fight hard (it's not their country, after all!).
Seriously speaking, I think that the only people that would be useful would be contractors, mercenaries, ex-military that want to give it another shot, retired veterans with nothing to loose, etc., in other words people that are competent with weapons and have experience with war scenarios.
But still, I'd really like to see some of those reddit idiots and streamers fly to Ukraine only to get blown up during the first week. A dream that, sadly, will problably never come true.
