Vaush, you didling dumbass! France already tried this (a non hierarchical egalitarian army) at the start of the 1st Republic in 1792 and it was an utter disaster.
What happened?

America tried militias that elected their leaders and could dismiss them (pretty similar to the Cherokees I was rambling about) in the War of 1812 and it played out poorly.

I don't know what's funnier, Russia losing another general, or the tacit admission that Russias generals are actually going to the lines and risking themselves. When's the last dead Uke general you heard of?
Not gonna lie, my commander actually going into battle with me would be the best way to gain my allegiance. Willing obedience always beats forced obedience.

If this was the first time this was claimed I'd call bullshit, but now that we have a Maj. General and a Colonel confirmed KIA before this claim I no longer take it with a grain of salt.
Yeah they are putting their main guys out front its fucking weird. Glad I don't fight for the Russian forces lol.

Don't forget that the waffle house crew is usually packing, and will shoot a motherfucker for trying to ruin your drunk dining experience.
Waffle house is a national treasure. Nothing better then sitting inside eating the All Star breakfast while watching a hurricane, blizzard, or riot rage outside the window.
If they had them in Ukraine they would all still be open.

Yeah having some mechanical knowledge it's weird seeing people write "it has a carb" and assuming that's a bad thing. Folks, carburettors are just as effective at delivering fuel as injectors, they're just far cheaper and easier to maintain. The advantage of electronic injectors is in precisely metering the fuel to lower emissions and fuel consumption.

For your post-apocalypse car you absolutely want a carby.
Don't laugh but learning to fix my car was a game changer. It taught me so much, and rewiring taught me the principles of electrical maintenance. Saved my live when my idiot super bypassed the fuse box. I had removed the fuses but the lights stayed on and that's how I found out. You laugh but most women haven't got a clue about electrical wiring, and how dangerous shoddy work can be.

Like another kiwi posted, the environmentalists killed it. And it's not just California that has petroleum, Texas for example and then of course fracking is a thing. There are grades of crude and California doesn't have the best, sweet crude, with little to no sulfur. It's more expensive to refine (and the left shut down refineries in Cali as well) but California has more than enough to meet its needs as well as the rest of the country.

The left loves this, it only helps them carry out their electric car and solar panel green energy grift, Putin is a blessing in disguise.

I may be out of the loop, but I thought the Richmond refinery was still running? For non-Cali-fags, Richmond (right across the bay from San Francisco and slightly north of notoriously liberal Berkeley) is Chevron’s HQ and there is a giant refinery there (have several chemical engineering classmates who got jobs there). It’s even funnier because on a clear day, you can see it from SF.

El Segundo (between LA and Long Beach) has a giant oil refinery as well — in fact that whole region of SoCal is loaded with oil infrastructure (it’s not advertised for obvious reasons). Besides the refineries, there are oil wells offshore (you can see them from most of our beaches) and inland, but California tries to hide them (making fake buildings around derricks, etc).

Oil is a huge part of California’s economy and history, but we can’t talk about it (Sacremento loves the tax revenue though). Only deep red Bakersfield in inland Kern county openly support the oil industry (and they hate the Bay Area and LA).

Also, our two working nuclear power plants got shut down. Our massive agricultural lands are being used for water-hungry almonds and water-hungry wineries that lose money and are used by the wealthy for tax write-offs. Technology and chip manufacturing has left the state, and new construction is capped by Byzantine bureaucracy, so nothing can be changed.

I weep for my ancestral homeland California and it’s lost potential.

Oh man this gave me a butt pucker. The first time I went to and fell in love with Waffle House was in Atlanta. Thankfully it was a different one, but the one I went to had a homeless dude eating out of the trash in the front of the store so idk if that's better.
