There's also British Israelism, which is the Anglo version of that. It's White Britons saying that Britons are Jewish.
Almost but not quite - British Israelism believers believe the Jews are indeed Jewish, but that the "ten lost tribes" (i.e. the descendants of the other sons of Israel that didn't become Jews and faded out of history) cruised over to Northern Europe. Brits are of Ephraim (Joseph's son), which would then extend to Americans too. Not sure if/how Manasseh fits

You've then got Nordic Israelism which emerged a little later as an add-on to the above. Finns are of Issachar (because the word for father in Finnish is Isa), Dan became the Danes and Icelanders are somehow connected to Benjamin for reasons I don't quite understand (also considering that in the bible itself the tribe of Benjamin splits from Israel with Judah to make the kingdom of Judaea, Benjaminites would have been absorbed into modern Jewry).

In the deeper theories of Black Hebrew Israelism, your tribe depends on where your ancestors were dumped as slaves in the Americas. Somehow if you originated from the same place in Africa but landed in the US vs landing in Jamaica you are two different tribes. I'm not sure how many BHI hold to this belief now. Pic 1 Pic 2

Honorable mention to the Mormon explanation of why there are native Americans - descendants of a bunch of Israelites who moved to America and turned against their God-fearing brethren. As punishment God turned their skin red from the previous "white and delightsome" (actual quote from the book of mormon that has since been revised to "pure and delightful" in the late 20th Century). Black people exist because they chose neutrality in the war between good and evil before being born on earth so that's their curse (those on team Jesus became white people. Satan's buddies became demons). Gross oversimplification, but they are now embarrassed by this theology and keep it on the down-low and show off how diverse their churches are. Here's a cute cartoon explaining it all, though I don't care to check how accurate it is.

Lloyd put up a poll for his viewers, asking if he should take the drunk livestream down. He's technically honouring the result, in that he's decided to keep it up but unlisted.

Many thanks to all who participated in the poll. After nearly 5,000 votes, a majority of you (59%) voted that my livestream from January 31st should remain on my channel for the sake of transparency. While I wish to honor this verdict, given (1) the incredible stress my family and I are under at the moment, (2) the fact that the video impacts on my wife and not just me, and the (3) fact that I made the video under duress, I am minded to remove it from the channel. As a compromise, I have decided to "unlist" both the January 31st livestream and my "Taking a Break" video so that they do not appear on my channel page any longer but can still be viewed by those who have links. Links to both videos are below. I cannot promise that I won't remove both videos entirely at some future point, but given the avalanche of wrong information that is being circulated about me at present I feel it's important right now that people know the truth. I appreciate the understanding of all of you at this difficult time. "Taking a Break" video: https://youtu.be/ekW-d4Q7WiQ January 31st livestream: https://youtu.be/oTAv12duue8

Don't worry Lloyd, it can still be viewed in the OP too!

Well, they do have similar roots in that they are both from this "Burned Over District" in upstate New York. It was a breeding ground for a lot of new religions, Smith was very influenced by these new religions cropping and they overwhelmed him as a kid and he didn't know which one was right which made him want to found his own since he eventually concluded that none of them were right. Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, and Seventh Day Adventists were probably the most successful. Infact, Seventh Day Adventists actually share a common ancestor with the Jehovah's Witnesses. See, there was this doomsday cult called the Millerites which believed that some year in the 1840s, the world is going to end, ironically, that was the year Joseph Smith died, but since the prophecy didn't come true and the world was still fine, the group split. One group followed Ellen White and formed the Seventh Day Adventists and the other followed Charles Tase Russell and eventually became the Jehovah's Witnesses (at the time known as the Bible Students)

Seventh Day Adventists are pretty chill though. They are for the most part generic protestants.

Fun fact about the Millerites: their founder William Miller proposed a couple different dates for Armageddon, the last one being October 22, 1844. The fact the world didn't end by then has been termed the "Great Disappointment." Yes, people were disappointed the world didn't end! Not only were their delusions of elect status and special knowledge of God's plan destroyed, but a lot of Millerites had given away all their money and possessions in preparation of Jesus Christ coming down from Heaven and declaring them all cool dudes and dudettes.

Being one of the offshoots of Millerism, the Jehovah's Witnesses have had a similar history of failing to accurately predict the apocalypse. Charles Taze Russell gave dates in 1878, 1881, 1914, and 1918 for major events in the End Times, all of which obviously failed to appear. In 1920 his successor J.F. Rutherford wrote a booklet titled Millions Now Living Will Never Die, wherein he said the patriarchs would all be resurrected in 1925. The church built a mansion in San Diego to house said patriarchs upon their return (which Rutherford coincidentally got to live in until then). The last date articles in the Watchtower floated as the end of the world as we know it (and I feel fine) was 1975. Since then the JWs have avoided giving more specific dates; there was a lot of vague speculation around the end of the 20th century, and now they seem to just go with Soon ™️.

One of my few encounters with JWs prior to my doing any personal research on them was back in May 2011, after one of Harold Camping's failed apocalypse predictions. I got a call from an unknown number so I let it go to voicemail, and upon checking the message found out it was some Jehovah's Witness funded robocall denouncing Camping and quoting Matthew 24:36. I didn't know back then just how ironic that was coming from a JW.

this is actually why hitler put JWs in camps during WW2 and even gave them their own triangle colour (purple)

Yep, even though Rutherford tried to shield the JWs from Hitler's wrath by issuing a public statement that even though JWs were technically politically neutral, they were totally down with what Hitler wanted to do to the Jews, Catholics, etc. Rutherford was something of an anti-Semite himself, getting rid of all the former points of JW theology stating that Jews would be among the elect who would get into Heaven.

Oh boy! Witnesses!
Let's learn about the culture this guy came from, shall we?
Given his age, he would have grown up with this book that was in like, every thrift store in the 90s.
I don't know how they got this many out there at the time. Did they give them away for free?

Oh wow, I remember seeing this book! I'm not sure how my parents got ahold of it as they were not JWs and so wouldn't have bought their literature, so I think you're right, the JWs must have been handing it out for free.

It's basically what @NoReturn just said. They believe Jesus died on a "torture stake," because they believe stauros can only mean stake. Consequently, Watchtower artwork depicts as such. Although, I don't know if if specifically calculated to avoid idolatry or they actually believe it.

View attachment 3053265

I think some of JWs' insistence on a torture stake instead of a cross is them wanting to avoid any symbol that associates them with other Christians. Like many extremist Christian groups they think they are the only TRUE AND HONEST Christians and everyone else has been misled by Satan at best or knowingly worships Satan at worst. From what I've read, JWs also refuse to participate in any interfaith groups for similar reasons. A lot of their identity is wrapped up in being a separate persecuted minority from "Satan's Wicked System of Things" which includes all other Christian denominations and religions.

Also, I love how this moron complains that he engaged in cybersex because the JWs sexually repressed him. I mean, okay.... the JW's are controlling weirdos, but you were a married man when you did that. I think pretty much any Christian congregation would frown upon what you did.

Most people in general would frown on what he did. Even if you don't believe in a sky daddy or an afterlife, cheating on your spouse (especially with potentially underage girls) makes you a creep and an asshole. But that doesn't fit with this guy's holier than thou "enlightened" atheist persecution complex, so he has to blame his bad behavior on his religious upbringing rather than take responsibility.

For those more interested in British/Anglo-Israelism, here's a video made by a guy who was raised in a Christian cult that believed in British Israelism (Worldwide Church of God) and later got out as an adult. He produces a lot of interesting religious and history related content on his channel, and has a Ph.D. in Religious Studies.

Here's another video from the same YouTuber as above, that goes into the fantasy genealogy of Israelites in the Americas that the Book of Mormon puts forth and which of them were "cursed" with not being white.

And it's only in recent history where even mainstream Christians decided these differences in ideology were no longer worth shunning if not outright murdering each other over. I still remember seeing news reports about The Troubles finally coming to an end when I was a child - there were people who believed in Christ placing bombs in cafés in major European cities with the goal of killing and terrorizing other people who believed in Christ but practiced that belief in a slightly different way in my lifetime if not yours. (Yes, I know it was a bit more complex than that, but still.)
How sure are you of this? Why would they keep such a database? It seems like a huge liability not only because it will inevitably leak, but, as you said, it will make them look very bad when it does so. It seems to me like they'd want to avoid keeping records of these things as much as possible.
I am certain because they have said so in legal documents and they use "clergy privilege" as a way to withhold this info. Ironically, the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses does not have a clergy.

If you need further proof look up ARC Jehovah's Witnesses. The Australia Royal Commission was able to legally obtain over a thousand internal reports of alleged sexual predators in the Australian branch of Jehovah's Witnesses. Not a single one was reported to police. That's just one country - the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses is worldwide.

Now, why keep these types of records? The organization of Jehovah's Witnesses has its own judicial system. They keep meticulous records on individual members that are passed from church to church so that elders are completely aware of an individual member's "standing." Keep in mind that this organization uses shunning as punishment for conduct they don't approve of - they will even try to take legal action against activists.

Having seen more than a few vids by ex-JWs a few years ago when I was on a binge of cult-related media, I think most of them sincerely wants to help peel people away from the cult, and who better than someone who grew up inside it and knows deeply what they believe and how to relate to them? The thing is that I think some of these people (like Telltale) want to talk them into atheism as he believes, whereas talking them down to a more mainstream form of Christianity is going to be more successful in my opinion - "maybe it's not so wrong to worship and praise God the most high in a different way" is probably easier for a JW to hear than "there is no God, there is no heaven, there is no point to anything but your own hedonistic pleasure."

To the ex-JWs here: What is the justification for the belief that Jesus was executed on a pole instead of a cross? Isn't "crucified" and variations of that word actually used in the Bible, and doesn't that term necessarily imply a cross?
They think Jesus was a tranny hooker.

Updated the OP to include more about the background of Lloyd vs Mike & Kim, and his article about "the haters".

Also found this, which he put in that article for some reason. Oh, Lloyd and the cunt farm.

Here's another ex-JW disavowal, CoachDeeFee ripping the piss out of him and saying it's the most entertainment he's ever made. Then rants about all sorts of conspiracies, thinks Lloyd is a Watchtower double agent.

And says another married man "on Lloyd's team" tried to take her out for dinner. It's not clear, I think she means a fan of his rather than someone who worked at JWWatch, apparently the guy said he was somehow connected to Lloyd and kept name-dropping Lloyd to impress her :story: The comments all suspect it's Mark O'Donnell.

The ex-jw community is really near and dear to my heart. Makes me sad to see Lloyd here, but he definitely deserves it.
Same, I like to watch cult and ex-cult stuff. The Nexpo/horror channels thread always has some good documentaries about cults and they fascinate me. I used to watch Lloyd because he put up all the weird JWBroadcasting videos and gave context to them, and I was sad when he turned out to be a punter, but now I can watch him and get extra comedy out of the JWs and him.

Who'd have thought that a guy who was essentially a priest in a corrupt controlling millenarian death cult was still a corrupt idiot who blew his fans money on ladyboy and child hookers in Phuket after getting kicked out?

I'm so happy this thread got front paged. This man's tendency to whine about being a virgin with rage is so pathetic and doesn't work when he's married. Also love how often he incriminates himself; the panicked rage he gave off when he flinched at calling the hookers girls makes me think he's on the Nonce List they have.

I've been looking for a new thread to follow for the past couple days, and this one has some good legs.

Well, holy shit.

I'd watched Lloyd since around 2018 after meeting some JW's and finding them just... odd. I thought something was up, considering his speaking towards Patreon and Dijana, but I didn't expect a Thai cheating saga!
Speaking of, I went back trying to find a specific video that I believe was of a road trip they took up the Croatian coast, and I cannot find it for the life of me. It stuck out to me because Dijana seemed completely unhappy, but Lloyd chose to awkwardly film them in the car anyway. It's not "Our European road trip to collect the book! - Cedars' vlog no. 141" though.

One thing I will provide is a bit of how Dijana talked about being on-camera herself. Maybe I'm looking too closely at things, but I always got the impression that Lloyd wanted some mega activist wifey, but she wasn't interested in that. Not sure if it's been said, but Lloyd frequently brings this up in long-ass videos: Her parents live right next door, and are still(?) JW's. I get the impression she's generally kind and quiet, and especially wouldn't want to hurt her family by screeching on-camera about the organization. Lloyd just can't help but wring content out of her, instead of leaving her alone.

First is from "A conversation with Dijana - Bunker Interview #4 (my wife!)"

Second is from "Dijana reacts to instructional video for JW parents"

If Lloyd's videos (pre-"Rebuttal Sushi") weren't upwards of 1-2 hours long, I'd clip something better together, but jesus christ it's a lot of recording time. It astounds me his decision to "take a break" was to fuck off to Thailand instead of stay home and spend time with his kids without the dumb bunker setup.

---

Question though - wouldn't this torpedo a lot of craptivism he's pushed for? He ALWAYS harps on how JW's supposedly say, "See we KNEW Apostates were bad!" the second you fuck up. Something, something, proving the point that life outside the organization is evil, Satanic, and scary. I wonder how many actual PIMO JW's watch his content - as opposed to non-religious curious onlookers - and would truly snap back into the mindset after knowing Lloyd's been a jackass without the org. My guess is surprisingly few, and a lot of his "supporters" coming on-camera to essentially agree with him for 2 hours is more of a smokescreen.

He might have, although they got together while they were both still JWs. I suspect he initially wanted a tradwife (or just to get laid, being the coomer he was/is). Plus, he was an elder in good standing in the congregation (at least, when they were courting) so the older JW ladies were probably talking him up as a real catch to Dijana. And by the time his cybering with "girls" came out, he'd already wifed the poor woman.
Then he left the JWs and she was still inside the church, but stood by her man like she'd been taught by Watchtower. Except now he was an apostate and instead of being an elder's wife, she was shackled to just an ordinary chubby Mancunian neckbeard. I don't think he realises how much he's punching above his weight, especially now he doesn't have that status in the congregation.

It astounds me his decision to "take a break" was to fuck off to Thailand instead of stay home and spend time with his kids without the dumb bunker setup.
He shows his kids quite a lot on his channel, but he strikes me as a manchild who wants to be "the fun parent" and only interacts with them as an excuse to do kid stuff like take them to the dinosaur theme park or play with their Legos and Star Wars dolls. Meanwhile Dijana does the chores, discipline, education, all the drudgery and responsibility involved in actually managing a household and a family that you can't just drop at a moment's notice to fuck off across the world on a pub/brothel crawl.

You'd think so. I guess we'll see if he gets as many leaks from PIMO Bethelites in the future as he used to.
Regarding his supporters, bear in mind he has always heavily curated his comments sections and chats, so while it looks like everyone supports Our Lloyd and Saviour, there's probably a lot more dissent than is actually showing up. His Patreon numbers and subscriber counts speak for themselves.

This dude and the ex JW community in general demonstrate that not only do cults prey on the gullible, the broken, the stupid and the ostracised for recruitment, but also that those people are still equally catastrophic human trainwrecks after they leave.

JW are basically all cows, cults in general tend to attract/create them.
Literal cults of lolcows of many flavors, current or ex members.

Ex members who accuse their cult of degeneracy turn out to be turbo degenerate themselves.
It's as funny as those alcoholic priests who preach against alcohol and sexual promiscuity on the pulpit. Hungover as shit and covered in herpes sores during morning sermon.

New age cults like Scientology, Happy Science and other are vehemently anti science, have batshit beliefs and are extremely ligitious.

Ex member aren't any better, large chunk can't just shake off anti science bullshit in entirely and join cult of social justice and troon dom due muh repressed sexuality among other things.

I find it ironic that many ex member need a cult of personality of mindless yes men like JW hierarchy just to get by.

Lloyd tells an ex-JW caller how to be an activist. :story: I'm assuming it's an old voicemail he's playing and responding to, sent some time before Hookergate, otherwise they wouldn't be asking him of all people.

The Reddit megathread is on its 8th iteration now.
AltWorldly, the ex-JW guy who made a commentary video of Lloyd's drunk livestream, has got a lolsuit from Lloyd. (archive) He really is turning into the JW Russell Greer.

ETA: this is apparently Karlo Novosel's CV (archive). I would've thought a guy with as much experience as him would be at least functionally literate, but maybe he recruited his secretary from one of Lloyd's favourite haunts.

I didn't think that it was possible for a Britbong living in Croatia to threaten a lolsuit against an American. I learned something today.

Now I'm wondering how long it'll be until Lloyd has his own Take that off the god damn Internet thread.
I mean, he can threaten one, but I don't think he has any grounds for one. Certainly not for criminal charges.

Croatian criminal code said:
CRIMINAL OFFENCES AGAINST HONOUR AND REPUTATION Insult Article 147
(1) Whoever insults another, shall be punished by a fine of up to ninety daily units.
(2) Whoever commits the offence referred to in paragraph 1 of this Article through the press, radio, television, computer system or network, at a public gathering or in some other way, thus making the insult accessible to a large number of persons, shall be punished by a fine of up to one hundred and eighty daily units.
(3) If the insulted person returns the insult, the court may remit the punishment of both perpetrators.
(4) If the perpetrator was prompted by improper behaviour of the injured party, or the injured party has accepted his or her apology for the committed offence before the court, the court may remit his or her punishment.
(5) There shall be no criminal offence of insult if it follows from the manner of expression and other circumstances that disparagement was committed in order to protect another justified interest.
I don't know about Yugoslav law, especially not laws about criminal charges for hurty feels, but I imagine the interest of Lloyd's patrons and of Patreon itself knowing that they were funding criminal activity, would be justified.

Article 149
(1) Whoever knowing that it is untrue, in front of a third party asserts or disseminates a false factual claim about another person which can damage his honour or reputation, shall be punished by a fine of up to three hundred and sixty daily units.
(2) Whoever commits the offence referred to in paragraph 1 of this Article through the press, radio, television, computer system or network, at a public gathering or in some other way, thus making the insult accessible to a large number of persons, shall be punished by a fine of up to five hundred daily units.
Llol admitted everything on video, so AltWorldly has a solid defence there.
That's if he can even prosecute him in Croatia, I have no idea how or if these apply internationally.

In other news, Lloyd's lost one of his biggest paypigs, so that might be why he's demanding 3,000 euros with menaces from people.
