Disagree. Nuclear plants can't turn into thermonuclear weapons. But an intentional release radioactive material could turn a nuclear plant into the world's dirtiest bomb.

If Chernobyl had happened and the Soviets took active steps to make it worse (letting the fire burn uncontrolled, letting the core melt into the pool of water on the floor so it caused a steam explosion, doing the same thing to reactors 1-3, etc, the exclusion zone would be the size of Ukraine and one of Europe's breadbasket regions would be irradiated. A moderate famine would result. The only thing preventing a severe famine in Europe would be food imports from north and south america.

The question can Chernobyl currently be turned into such weapon ? Weapon of Ultimate Denial a Weapon to Surpass Nuke ?

In the USA, all the cool people agree that if we made English the official language of the country, it would be deeply racist toward all the foreigners here, and in fact, anything less than providing translators for any language on demand is racist. Russia is just being on the right side of history here.

That’s a tricky one. I think official languages should be done on a state by state basis, as certain regions of the country do have a centuries-long multilingual history, like the southwestern states where up to have very large native Spanish-speaking populations or Louisiana with French. New Mexico handles it’s official bilingualism pretty well. Of course this isn’t the case in say, New England.

Zelensky is pretty much demanding that NATO step in and effectively make this the start of WWIII proper, because he has to know that Russia's been violating airspaces with NATO members for years. Every single time some Russian plane shows up to pester NATO like that one time a jet flew mere feet from a US ship, it makes the news.

Right now I think the major question is what's going to happen once Kiev falls. Because I doubt Zelensky is going to capitulate and he'll just move the capital to some city in the west.

Agreed, Swat Kats not only fucking kicks ass, it still holds up remarkably well, too. I'm honestly surprised nobody's even thought about trying to get a revival for it going since nobody wants new ideas for toyetic kids cartoons anymore.
