I believe in the past that was known as "Cabin Fever". In my part of the world, we are remote enough (and poor enough) that there is a uptick in local community drama right about this time of year, every year.Individuals' behavior has been strange lately.
Keep an eye on people in public - manic behavior/overly dramatic or overly gleeful.
Some described sleep disturbances as well.
I've seen this in bars, Starbucks, restaurants, and hotels. Pay attention.
My hypotheses:
Spring is coming. Spring travel/spring break?
Barometric changes to brain pressure.
Lunar/tidal influences
People happy that covid is 'over'
Combo of the above?
or...?
Seriously - if/when you go in public- pay attention. Weird shit.
My hypothesis is metropolitan areas dont really have that, because when you got stir-crazy, you could just take a break and start traveling. Covid changed that, and the pressure is mounting.
It is also likely that you kids just haven't been around long enough to notice it.
