I watched a minute of it and enjoyed it a lot more than an entire stream of Phil just based off the fact he doesn't have a camera ready to zoom in on his face everytime he dies doing a 1 minute long bit.
I think as others have said with the likes ect it seems like he needs reassurance on top of the money. Like affirmation people like him or his content, I feel this might stretch to money too along with the active chatters talking. If things aren't constantly basically saying "Phil its okay" he seems to get really insecure.

On one hand I agree, if all your income is based off the charity of others you really aren't in a position to just be giving the money away via tips. On the other hand I'd much rather see him give the money to a server than spend it on gatcha which benefits absolutely nobody except scopley.
