For those not well-versed in Furry Speak, a protogen is a kind of robot fictional species and they're very popular. The black head is supposed to be a display screen, which I guess Wedge decided to put a clown nose onto and slap it onto what looks like a stuffed animal body. The body itself is giving me Plushie Neopets vibes and I can't decide if that's horrifying to me or not.
