Ahh, the horror of not getting big mac with coca cola. If only Ukrainian in Mariupol would know how hard those poor Russians have :c.

Because clearly, those sanctions appear out of nowhere. They were not caused by anything in particular. It is just mean russophobia.
Russians won't miss Big Macs all that much. What they will miss is the old price of cars when they skyrocket because car production is expected to be cut by 50% and car factories are shutting down because they can't get microchips due to sanctions. Or Cisco, HP, Intel, and Dell computer parts, which they can't get maintained or replaced because they all stopped doing business in Russia.

Pretty tough trying to grab the moral high ground on that one while Russian artillery and MLRS is leveling residential neighborhoods indiscriminately
Oi, just... Don't.

Ukraine has been shelling Donbass for 8 years, residential neighborhoods, children and their puppies and the whole shebang ground into mincemeat, and nobody cared. Just like nobody cared when the Ukraineans dropped a cluster bomb on a Donbass neighborhood last week and @JosephStalin gave an empassioned speech about "Beware, Putin, the entire world is watching."

The world is not watching. Atrocities only count if they are committed by the Russians. And there is no moral high ground to be claimed by either side.

Fun game to play, look up important people from the Donetsk and Lugansk separatist movements, and find how many of them got killed in "completely unrelated terrorist attacks" after the ceasefire.

Ah, yes

Ah, also I think it is relevant here. It takes about 2 months for sanctions to take full effect. Companies need some time to leave, there are still wares in magazines etc. etc.

So, if you think that economic damage to Russia is bad now, buckle up! Things are about to get a lot worse.

This just in: Putin unveils Cryptocurrency to finance the war while fighting hyperinflation.

Your lack of faith is unfounded. @mindlessobserver's 500k Ukrainian army reserve will turn the tide any day now.
The Ghost of Kiev is pulling a Gandalf and he's going to show up at the last minute when all hope looks lost with the Ukrainian Rohirrim. That's why no one's heard from him since the first day.

Well, I'm polish and Putin demanded NATO to leave Poland. War in Ukraine is in my personal and national concerne and I'm glad that Russia is heavily sanctioned.

I hope they will get sanctioned more, until cogs and gears of war machine will no longer spin.

Mutual off-and-on artillery duels limited in scope and purpose that were mostly done so they could be paraded around by Russian media is not the same as grid square removal. Even one loose rocket is meaningless in the scheme of things. You are not understanding the scale of this conflict.

Borscht didn't say anything about the comparisons of Uke-on-Donbas arty vs Rus-on-Uke arty.

There was an excess of 13,000 casualties with approximately 80% of artillery strikes deployed by the Ukrainian infantry. I'm not a scaly or a furry but that doesn't sound 👌.

Of course:
Likud MK Yuval Steinitz, a former minister, says Zelensky’s speech “borders on Holocaust denial.”
Several Israeli lawmakers criticize Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for drawing comparisons between the Holocaust and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine during his speech to Knesset members.

“I admire the Ukraine president and support the Ukrainian people in heart and deed, but the terrible history of the Holocaust cannot be rewritten,” Communications Minister Yoaz Hendel tweets.

Hendel notes part of Nazi Germany’s genocide of Jews “was also carried out in the land of Ukraine.”

“The war is terrible but the comparison to the horrors of the Holocaust and the final solution is outrageous,” he says.

Hebrew media outlets quote unnamed senior ministers railing at Zelensky’s “outrageous comparison.”

“Zelensky also distorted the part of his country in the murder of Jews,” they say, according to the Ynet news site,

Likud MK Yuval Steinitz, a former minister, says Zelensky’s speech “borders on Holocaust denial.”

“War is always a terrible thing… but every comparison between a regular war, as difficult as it is, and the destruction of millions of Jews in gas chambers in the framework of the final solution is a complete distortion of history,” he says in a statement.

A number of Religious Zionism MKs also criticize Zelensky, with the far-right opposition party’s leader Bezalel Smotrich slamming the Holocaust comparisons and accusing the Ukrainian leader of trying “to rewrite history and erase the involvement of the Ukrainian people in the destruction of Jews.”

But Yisrael Beytenu MK Eli Avidar, a maverick coalition member, calls Zelensky’s speech “moving.”

“Indifference does kill. Mediation efforts are important but they can’t come at the expense of values. We need to be on the side of good against evil,” he says in a statement.

Fuck you, nigger.
Whatever the US, Israel, Turkey or Russia itself did in the past, and will do in the future, being wrong at that, does not justify the wrongs Russia is doing right now.
If you'd be a fag living by your words, you'd actually care that people care later than never. Now you're just a fag who sheds a tear too late for the wrong reasons.

Just to note. Where are the nazis and the soviets now and where is Poland today.

You didn't see any casualties because there were none!

What is with people lashing out, they said, verbatim, "there is no moral high ground to be claimed by either side."

They also have the highest average IQ in all of Europe.
I just checked and, to my surprise, you are right. I underestimated the Belarusians. Maybe if your entire diet and leader are potatoes, you will become immune to becoming one.

Well, Putin started denazification. Maybe he should go with deretardation further west? I believe Russia and Europe can rekindle their relationship over the good old partitions of Poland.
