You literally can't negotiate with Russia. Everyone who has ever tried to negotiate with Putin got fucked in the ass.
They should have accepted the referendum's has legal, or atleast negotiated to have a UN observed referendum. The majority of Ukraine voted for neutrality. This was the "voice of the people". A minority faction violently overthrew the government. They should have accepted that the East and Crimea would then separate, especially considering they are the weaker party. States have been formed over much lesser justifications. They had no qualms about "bombing teh children" when it was they who had to send a military into civillian areas to achieve THEIR strategic objectives.

Do you think Arnold will respond to the Russian girl's video? Uh FUCK NO. . He wants to reduce everything to a simple emotional retort. "Putin is a nazi like my dad!" "They are bombing teh children". He is utterly incapable of sitting down and having normal civil discourse over the complexities of this conflict. They want to shut down ANY discourse as being a Russian spy, a traitor, etc. Because they don't want their arguments held to ANY scrutiny at all. People here have some balls talking about Russian censorship knowing the pure vitriol flaming over the airways here in the west.

I'm pretty sure that Ukraine didnt had independent goverment in 1979.

They don't in 2022 either, their master has merely changed.

You're moving the goalposts, by the way.

Why do Zelensky shills pretend they're incapable of understanding how to compare one war to another?

Being disingenuous is the hallmark of black-gorilla-nigger-cattle.

Because there maybe soliders send from Ukrainian Soviet Republic to Afghanistan, this somehow justifies Russian invasion on Ukraine, because Ukraine chose to ally with US.

This is your argument? Because I'm struggling for words how retarded you are.

Warning! Political rant:

For those who say that the DPR and LPR only exist on the life support of Russian armed forces and money, here is the "2014 Proclamation of the ACT of the Creation of the Luhansk People's Republic." A lot of people are forced at gunpoint, don't you think?

When Putin said, "The collapse of the Soviet Union was the greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the twentieth century," he got a lot of flak from the western media, but what he really meant was that it created a complicated situation in which people suddenly stopped being citizens of one country and did not necessarily agree with their new found government and were definitely not willing to move away because of that. The thing is, eastern Ukraine was mostly pro-Russian and western Ukraine was pro-European mostly because the east was always Russian territory and the west was part of Poland or Germany at some point. The fragile balance of interests ended with Yanukovych, and only God knows how it's all going to end. One thing is certain: everyone will suffer as a result of this.
And here i thought urkro-bros can read

I don't recall ever one saying that. Please try not to put words in my mouth, or devise a strawman to argue against.

Should I fucking apologize you for not reding every post in this thread? :story:

I swear, each time I visit this thread a new depth of autism is shown to me.

You probably should learn to take a step back and stop seeing only what you want to see, and instead try to think critically.

You could say the same thing about Afghanistan.

If the U.S. didn't had an ego trip to recreate a western democracy in fucking Afghanistan of all places then all of the killing and dying in Afghanistan wouldn't have happened.
Nonsense. Attempting to create democracy in Afghanistan wasn't an ego trip. It was a side effect of the Taliban shielding Bin Laden, causing the US to decide that the Taliban had to go as well. When you destroy someone's government, the reasonable thing to do is build a replacement for the people. Naturally because the US is a democracy, any replacement governments they build will be democracies. Sort of how like post Napoleon they created constitutional monarchies in France and the Netherlands as part of rebuilding nations.

Man. Global nuclear annihilation was so much cooler than global transgender psyops and whatever.
My favorite design was the Lockheed CL-1201, literally something you would see in ace combat with a wingspan of 340 meters. Apparently the nuclear reactor was capable of surviving mostly intact if it were to crash into a mountain

So why do you say that Ukraine send men to Afghanistan in 1979? How this is relevant to discussion?

Nuclear powered aircraft were so cool. Don't get me wrong, I totally understand why EVERYONE decided against making them, but still, it would be fun to get on one and literally cruise around the whole planet.
