You guys were right about Vox fans (at least a little). I got a warning on Voxcord for 2 obvious jokes. One is me saying "No bitches at an anime shop, I'm shocked. LMAOOOOO" and another joke "I think Vox and Mysta wants the girls to think they're gay, both the mems and the fans, lol". Keep in mind I said the same shit in Vox's chat and nothing happened, as well as Mystacord and nothing happened. Warning says "You were warned in Vox's Kindred Clan. Reason: Distasteful jokes, assuming liver's sexuality and not listening to the mods" ("not listening to mods" was me telling the admin "It. Was. A. Joke." 1 time to the anime shop thing and also imagine taking that "think they're gay" comment as assuming sexuality; and I'd like to say others were making less explicit sexuality jokes too like "get a room, oh wait they already have one")


So I think Voxcord mods are just fucking stupid and strict fujos.

Apparently Ike (and possibly also Nina) are now sleeping as they're doing this. Based on some tweets, they're most likely in Mysta's house.
Been watching since the beginning and this has actually been more laid-back than I thought it'd be, it's mostly just been like a podcast about random shit with some occasional food-related talk. It's not even primarily ASMR-focused.

Also, Vox just said if he were ever to be a podcaster, he'd be like Joe Rogan.

From what I'm able to follow, Isekai Pikamee is a character that she'll put into rotation along with her other designs. Like her other designs, if you remove her antenna she will die so do not touch. They left in her monster teeth which I think is a real nice touch.

I'm more adjusted to seeing Pikamee in her Gyari artstyle that this more normalesque Anime artstyle just seems... wrong? In a way.

I think a big part of it is you're ignoring the insane oversaturation of the EN Vtuber/Vtweeter indie base that's currently on fire and doing some of the dumbest shit imaginable, which is a good thing lol. Basically now that the plague is "over", those in it for the hobby are thriving, those in it for the clout sunk and those in it to bandwagon are largely ignored, so yeah we are at the comfy spot of it right now.

Which is hilarious, because our discussions in this thread about a year or slightly more ago basically predicted this exact scenario of over saturation.

Gyari's art gives all of VOMs a distinct look and personality from every other vtuber that I've always liked. Seeing her like this is quite the change I agree. I think it will be a good thing in the long run though. She seemed really excited that she now has "floofy hair" and she also made it clear that this wasn't a permanent thing. She even acted differently which further goes to show this is just a character.

At least here in Burgerland almost everywhere you turn--television, social media, even sports--is full of politics, personal feuds, and jackassery. So the holo/niji vision of vtubers, where there's no politics, everyone pretty much gets along, and you can watch the talents grow (see, e.g., the thread's favorite Chicken) can be really appealing.

Also TMI maybe but do you remember that post from last year where somebody said that watching Gura deradicalized him? I believe it, because ever since I started watching vtubers I stopped being a politics sperg and it's been really helpful for my personal relationships. So good job vtubers.

man, at least when this thread gets serious about v-tubers talking to each other it's for the end goal of feeding the great kiwi drama machine.

The worst/best part is that those same people who will act like two people talking to each other as an offense, will then turn around and fucking lament when that same person leaves because of dogpiling.
