The payment plans are usually set up to pay off the amount over a certain period of time (like 3-5 years or something). He could, of course, pay more than the minimum amount and pay it down faster (and thus with less interest), but we both know that won't happen. He's currently on a payment plan for 2018 and 2019's federal taxes. Presumably he got one for 2020's taxes as well? And I'd say it's a safe assumption he'll try and get one for 2021's taxes too. The 2018 payment plan should be finishing up ($500 x 36 months = $18,000) soon.
TL;DR: He's still a fucking moron who is one genuinely adverse event away from a financial shitstorm bigger than his bankruptcy.
This is what may sink him, and that's if you're correct that it'll be soon. Phil started whaling out a lot more in the same year he went through his bankruptcy proceedings, so it's hard to picture him being able to pay down his taxes for the last two years in the same amount of time it has taken him to catch up taxes from four fucking years ago. Which were less than he's going to owe in years since then.
It may take a long awhile, but he's definitely on track to one day owe so much money to the feds that they stop humoring him and start asking questions he doesn't want to answer. Unless they really are like bank, and content to let him waste so much money like an idiot. I'm doubtful, because they put people in jail for owing them money. Not expecting that with Phil, because I doubt he's actually hiding his gacha spending, he just makes it
look like he might be, when you know the truth about him. But they're bound to get curious at a certain point, and we know how Phil is about that. He snaps at the most innocent, logical questions, and every single time, it's because the honest answer exposes him as being a piece of shit.
Y’all might think I’m a little fucked up for this one but I LOVE when these things happen to Phil because of the inner turmoil he’s gonna be feeling in a couple days when he realizes he didn’t gain a single fan from having a liked Tweet.
It’s really easy to rope people in, but ultimately it’s a waste of time if you’re not providing the product you advertise.
I share this, because we all know it's what Phil wants out of these moments: escape from the retard circus. He's not content with barely being kept afloat by The Whale, he wouldn't be trying to revive his dead channel or go viral like he did early this morning if he truly felt that secure, comfortable, and satisfied. He wants his retards outnumbered, he's not going to relax his chat rules, but he does want more people to be trying to talk in it, so that when their accounts are a day old, they flood in and drown out the regulars. This would be smart, because the regulars turn people off, were it not for Phil being an even bigger source of repulsion than they can combine into.
And I agree with the predictions of him riding high on this, especially since he was so excited he stayed up even later than usual. It shows he hasn't learned, but more than that, it shows his desperation and his stubbornness. He remembers that the ProJared moment didn't work out in his favor, but in his mind, it was
supposed to, and he's going to keep repeating shit like that until it finally works, or he dies. And all because it's preferable to him, next to growing the fuck up and being a genuinely better person. It's like he doesn't want to win unless it's dishonorably.
