I'm offended on their behalf. Thousands of those youths fathers suffered and died to defeat the unseen menace that was chernobyl. Callously disturbing their work is monstrous.
More people died and/or were left deformed from Chernobyl than from Hiroshima and Nagasaki combined. I remember doing a report on it in school and finding out that some people in the Pacific Northwest were experiencing problems from irradiated dust particles traced back to the CNPP. It's fucked up just how bad it was and the worldwide impact it had.

If I was in either of the republics I would honestly vote to join with Russia if there was such a referendum. Way better than being a landlocked weak bitch in between two guys with bad blood.
They can't trust Ukraine anyway. The Minsk Protocol said they had to be recognized as autonomous (within Ukraine), but Ukraine didn't give a shit (even though they signed as well) until the war broke out.
So staying with Ukraine is probably not an option to those who live there.

Edit:
Autonomous might be said too much, but they would be allowed to vote for their own regulatory government and Ukraine would have needed to work with that. That's what I read from that.

Hell, forget about Western safety standards, the moment a Russian airliner goes down and it's revealed it was using a spare part or was being used for Western quality spare parts and given a subpar replacement part, most airports that do allow Russian planes will stop allowing them. And this most likely isn't an if, it's a when.
The minute a passenger plane goes down records are requested to the origin of the birth of a 1/8" spring.

They should have just followed the covid double masking with a stocking over the face guidance. Stops *everything*.
Ironically yes. Even the bullshit cloth masks would be enough. The subsurface particulate Fallout in the exclusion zone is VERY dangerous...if you let it stay on you or breath it in. It's why visitors to the area are required to take showers upon leaving and under no circumstances are allowed to leave designated walking areas. Especially into the red forest. Taking those very basic safety measures though means you will be perfectly fine.

I'm just...aghast. Those idiots drove tracked vehicles into the exclusion zone and set up camp? And dug into the ground to boot?! Ngl, if I was one of those Russian soldiers I would have deserted immediately, and then jumped into the nearest clean body of water I could find, stripped naked and stolen some Ukrainians clothes.

Thanks, it contains a link to a longer version of the vid in better quality:

Twitter user Ars_Faivre thinks it's fake because there isn't enought blood. Maybe someone should explain him why tourniquets are applied.
Edit - also because no bullet holes visible and smoke and things.
If you actually do read the thread, he did mention that longer video and other arguments besides "NO BLOOD". So next time, do actually read everything until the end
Missed this but not surprised hence the 'apparently'. Maybe it's in Grozny or maybe he got flown in for a photo op and then quickly home
I seriously doubt that coward ever set foot in anywhere near the frontline. It's not like Kremlin could afford to lose him anyway as well
RWA wrote a cope thread about why Russia was totally capable of winning WW1 and it was the fault of those pesky revolutionaries that they lost.

Yeah, expect a lot of cope threads from pro-Russian accounts when this war is over. It will be entertaining.
He also was doing a cope thread about how the Russo-Japanese war was a proxy war carried out by Britain and about how "we totally kicked the Jap's asses since they had more casualties than us" while ignoring that the Baltic fleet was completely anihilated.

And he responded to one guy that the Japanese lost 100 thousand killed in just Porth Arthur, really hilarious all around.
Holyshit, now those are Cope Cages. Not just WWI, but also the Russo-Japanese War as well? FYI, the japs lost tens of thousands of their soldiers because their command is retarded and ordered their men to charge at the enemies; and because their soldiers fell victims to diseases due to their white rice-only ration giving them Beriberi

Ruble almost back to its prewar value lol. Western elites are so fucking pathetic. This eurocuck's response is "the politics of failure have failed, we must make them work again!"

Yeah, sure, "recovered"

Wtf is WRONG with the Russian Army. For fucks sake it was the Russian Army that buried all that Fallout in the first place. Someone at the strategic level had to have known it was still there. The entire reason the liquidators had to go through and flip the earth over was because the Beta Wave radiation lasts for centuries but can be blocked by a simple dirt barrier.

Unless literal morons go through and flip it over again. Thoss soldiers are dead men walking, especially if they breathed in the dust.
If it's true. From the article itself:
Reuters could not independently verify their accounts.

They were interviewed by phone on Friday on condition of anonymity because they feared for their safety.

Reuters was not able to independently establish what the radiation levels were for people in the immediate proximity of the Russian convoy that entered the Red Forest.
It could be true. It also could be not be true.

The Ukrainians and their shills have been trying to make a big deal about Russian something nuclear, and none of it sticks, because its either wild speculation or just blatantly false, and no one can verify their claims. So, stop crowing and gloating about it.

Im trying to find good Russian file sharing sites nowdays, so was just wondering!

Something like this but free would be wonderful: https://sovietmoviesonline.com
But I guess the version I'd find in Russia would be without subtitles :( Though subtitles are sometimes relatively easy to find.
iirc them (or a similar site) has subs for a lot of shit, and if you pull down the video including subs you get the full subs (but only ten mins of the video), but then you can graft those subs onto another raw by digging up the cyrillic or something

To put it this way the men and women who rushed into the twin towers to save people have to constantly fight to keep benefits every 5 ish years.
Keep in mind it was cunts in the Republican Party that kept on blocking it, if it wasn't for someone like Jon Stewart to use his media power to put giant pressure on them.

They should be getting them benefits without a time limit to begin with it, and I don't want to hear bullshit from all of those cuckservatives into "reducing government spending" since they have proven to be full of shit ever since Bush bailed out the banks and probably were before lol.

I don't understand the significance of gas being paid in rubles.. someone simplify that for me
This is a bit of an oversimplification but, every country in the modern world uses fiat currency which is basically money that's only worth what people, typically (((people))), think it's worth. Think about it like fallout bottle caps. The typical going rate for an item is so many bottle caps because that's what is fairly universally agreed on as being reasonable. Well, let's say some major economic entity decides "we're not going to accept bottle caps for goods anymore, we're going to use shell casings." Well, now you have some goods which you can't buy with bottle caps unless you buy second-hand through some other entity and if you do this, you're going to be paying more bottle caps for the same amount of product. Obviously, this is going to make bottle caps less desirable as a form of currency because you have a certain sector of the market that no longer acknowledges it as having value. Assuming neutral parties between bottle caps and shell casings want to buy the products of the entity only accepting shell casings more than they want to buy products from the entities sticking to bottle caps, they may also start only recognizing shell casings which would start a cascading effect devaluing bottle caps rapidly because you have a growing number of people who no longer see them as being valuable.

Nothing, really. It's just a desperate attempt from Kremlin to prop up their dying currency. No one wants to accept their payment in rubles because no one wanted to accept Rubles as a hard currency. At the end of the day, Russia and everyone else that have rubles in their pocket will trade it for Dollars or Euro before it plunges even more, essentially making the whole thing all for nothing. All the talks about Petrorubles or Petroyuan is just wishful thinking because economist and financial regulators are not dumb people who only read news headlines. In fact, Dollars is actually continuing to rise right now
