Even harder when Ralph built this event up so much for a couple of months and when the event finally arrives it's this shitshow that starts late, goes right into a debate on Globalism, more tech issues with mics not working, bad positioning for the camera, the stream crapping out several times, the comedic stylings of Alex Klein and ?, the comedic stylings of Pat Dixon, promoted guest Dick Masterson beating a hasty retreat during the event, and the stationary camera being pointed in the direction of the bowling lanes but showing no bowling. Not to mention that instead of working on tech issues the night before the event Ralph decided to spend his time hollering outside of a 7-11 that was across the street from The Blaze Studios where You Are Here was being filmed because he cancelled his appearance the day after Alice went on Kino Casino and told how she said "no" to a request to suck his dick which resulted in Ralph getting her blackout drunk and (so he said) using her to pleasure himself (Eeew!) then running like hell when the Police showed up likely because the employees in the businesses of the parking lot he was in called them.So the big question after all this is how financially screwed is Ralph for this event. If we are generous and say 50 people paid for a ticket (I'm assuming people like Dick and Destiny didn't) then Ralph took in only about $3200 before expenses.
Paying for hotel, gas, food, food, a $300 cowboy hat, food, alcohol, coke and food alone would be a decent chunk out of that. Follow that up with a trophy that Ralph told them to make as big but as cheap as possible. Its just legs and a bowling ball. Tropies like this tend to be much more ornate. The trophy cost around $150- $200.
Next up is the comedian and comedy band troupe. On the massively cheap end and Ralph telling them it'll be great exposure for them on the Killstream its still gonna cost him $350 to $500, most likely more. The musical act travels the country so most likely a hotel is required.
Next, we know Ralph's donos were on because we saw one or two but he pretty much made nothing in streaming.
Finally as someone said on Flams stream, he did get the alley for free but deals like this almost always require him to bring a min headcount and for them to sell a min amount of booze and food to make it worth it. From the looks of the crowd, not only was turnout low, no one was eating and people weren't pounding drinks. Also the swatting probably killed a lot of business.
Ralph is going to have to pay the alley anything gap between what the alley took and their minimum. For an alley that size I would hazard a guess of around $5,000 to $7,500 as the min.
Ralph lost out on this event hard.
And let us not forget his tweeting out a pic of the "crowd" in the bar at the start of the debate with his comment "YUGE". Now if "yuge" means "more than several, but not huge" then sure. But if "YUGE" was another word for "huge", GTFO.
Edit: TYVM to Hüftpriester for reminding me of the hour or so after the debate where Ralph lost another back-and-forth with Mister Metokur on Twitter.
Edit 2: Where were the promised strippers that were to be clothed anyhow?
