Nexpo/YT Horror Channels - Do they all suck

From what I've seen, Wendigoon Isn't really a terminally online person so his Internet interests are going to be a bit bland. I kinda see this as a good thing though because when a Horror content creator starts to delve deep into the online happenings then you get gay wanna be vigilantes like Mamma Max who think they are way more important than they actually are.
Yeah, I'm glad he is staying away from the "Internet Vigilante" angle that some like to take.

Speaking of Mamma Max, I don't think his vigilante angle will end well for him.

About a year ago I was lurking on /x/ and there was a "Nexpo General" inviting anons to discuss his videos that was clearly made by the man himself or an editor.
Jannies pruned it in about a few hours thankfully.
Paraphrasing what an anon said,
"You're not the main character."

There is one there right now, with Nexpo's face as the OP.

They Hypnogogic Archives was an ok one, however I think the issue with it is, the creators specifically targeted Wendigoon via 4chan. Wendigoon is a big creator now, and will continue to be targeted in this way for people trying to get exposure for their projects.
Yeah, during the first video I kept asking myself if he was behind it or trying to help the creator. I was surprised he half assed admitted to being tricked into covering it.

Then again, didn't Mandella Catalog guy offer to tell him what everything meant and he asked him not to? I guess this should have been expected for a while now.

I remember that as well it wasn't only one thread there was constant threads being spammed that /x decided to make the "Nexpo Incident" which was just a huge shit post to try and stop the spam by making weird shit up about Nexpo in a 4chan fashion.

Oh God, I hope he doesn't get too involved with it. Remember when that Jack Torrance ARG got Night Mind to participate and it got completely up to his head and he became even more of a condescending prick?

I'm assuming that's the one where he went to Austin(?), and was doing ARG investigator in real time with the the creator and his "team"?

If so that, or how much he hyped up Dad, is my vote for when he Jumped the Shark.

I don't know if it was before or after Dad, but he jumped the shark for me when he inserted his own fursona in his DHMIS analysis and went on a rant about Youtube and making content.

After the success something as low effort as the Mandela Catalog got just because of Wendigoon covering it, this is a pretty likely scenario. He's a good youtuber that covers some interesting stuff sometimes (the iceberg videos are always fun to listen to imho), but with these horror ARGs they're just going to make it as appealing as possible to him or, in the case of Mandela Catalog, spoonfeed him everything related to their ARG, it takes a lot of the fun out of it.
