Asia was always this one massive retard in class that loved to do unusual shit, sometimes funny but most of the time, stupid. They are those who are willing to play virtually anything. Mobile Games? They'll pay up for the latest gachashit or some stinky MOBA. PC? All over the place but the most obvious demographic being MOBAs, specifically League of Legends and DOTA. FPS are not too seen, hence why CS:GO asian teams never get so popular or why Apex and PUBG has a sizeable amount of players but not too high. They also love free-to-play games so they'll play anything F2P from something that was used to be decent like War Thunder and Team Fortress 2 to something dogshit like World of Tanks, Genshin Impact and the like. For some reason, most kids there never cared about Fortnite, so that's something good I guess?

Apex is probably my most played game ever at this point, and definitely my favorite shooter. That being said, I have no faith in the future of the game with the amount of retardation the inevitably infects game companies over time. The original people who designed the game are long gone and the people replacing them have nothing compared to the original designers. The core game seems almost mathematically calculated to be the most fun and satisfying experience, which I think will carry it a long way. But in the future I'm sure it will be ruined by trying to appeal to an ever more casual fanbase, like they already tried to do by nerfing all shields by 25%. The game being so incredibly popular now compared to even last year is a testament to the original design, but I have no faith that they'll stay true to that in the future, or worse actively sabotage it (see: nigger/faggot stickers and gay black characters instead of fixing bugs that have existed since season zero, like the sound completely stopping if too many sources are going off at once).

Even better, they've removed the free DLC from sale too. So even if you access it from EA Play, you can't even play it properly.

They may as well just axed the servers. This is an insult of how to treat your "core DNA." I loved the concept of Titanfall. Titans and pilots both had a fighting chance in a full lobby. Ultimately, it was still a twitch shooter but with added mobility.

I know they tried, but in end it counts what came out of it, having an intern look over the code during lunch break can be considered trying as well.
and it's not like they were especially eager to fix an old game fast, until it suddenly affected apex - which they apparently fixed but didn't want to put in the effort to backport those fixes into their old games that won't generate any more money (don't get me wrong companies are out to make money and budgets are limited they have to decide what to spend it on, it's just a comment how they spend it and their general business strategy).

There is currently a community working on mod hacks for Titanfall 2 and they know more about the game than Respawn does. Treating an AAA game that people had to buy like a free to play game by pulling the plug is shitty.

Shame what happened to the original Titanfall. It was a great twist to the modern military shooter trope that plagued that generation.

Despite having a lackluster campaign mode, I played Titanfall more than Advanced Warfare. The Titans provided more depth to combat within infantry and Titan itself. These lumbering machines were tanks, but they weren't invurneable. Even pilots could stand a chance with them if they were smart about it.

It had twitch level mechanics like Advanced Warfare, but the maps were tailored for pilot movement. You weren't just boost jumping and sliding back and forth. You could parkour, slide, boost, cloak. It was fast enough to do evasive measures, but slow enough to where you could still have a chance to fight back.

I wish Titanfall 1 had more Titan customization and distinguishable enemies . But, it was a great substitute to the tried and true CoD formula.

The Northstar launcher has been released for about 2 weeks now. I just hope that the player count remains stable in the future.
You can also host your own dedicated server.
The modding potential is absurd and there's a lot of crazy shit happening. Gungame, Infection or Pilots v. Pilots but everyone has titan weapons are a shitload of fun and I don't think I'm ever going to get tired of 20 player ffa on small maps.

Much like pilots and truckers, professional gamers sit on their ass a lot and are prone to developing clots from doing so. Vaccines or medicines that can cause an increase in clots are something one would want to avoid when already pursuing a profession that which can give you clots already. Gallons of clots even. That said if he wants to lose out on money that is his choice. I don't really care what people do with the stuff.
