I want to be on the side of people who are saying it's fucked up to hope he was tortured and murdered, but I can't fucking stand the way he punctuates nearly every sentence with that smug, self-satisfied "mmmMMMMn." Like, what the fuck is that even about? It's more than just a tic, it's like he feels he's such a big-brained genius that he has to agree with what he just said. mmmMMMMn. He's obviously a narcissist with a huge ego, and he just has to let you know he dropped some real profundity on your ass. mmmMMMMn. He thinks his words carry so much weight, that every sentence just blew someone's mind. mmmMMMMn. I should actually be putting a question mark after it instead of a period, because he says it with an inquisitive inflection, as if to suggest: "Did your tiny pea brain even consider the novel idea I just elucidated for you?" mmmMMMMn?

He's definitely a grifter so his disappearance and supposed heart problems could definitely be an attention/money grab. Obviously I don't know what Ukrainian or European law is but I feel like an expat living there would be at the bottom of the list for a heart transplant.

Bit late, but I hope he is just captured or playing coy in Russia, but that would be unlike Coach to miss any interview, and I doubt the Azovs like to keep POWs judging from that one clip. I hope he isn't dead.

I'd bet that even in Ukrainian cities which aren't under direct siege, law and order ain't doing so hot... and Coach is a feeble old man who literally can't shut his mouth to save his fucking life.

We're sat here twisting ourselves in knots about Azov this or spy that, when it's entirely possible (even likely) that some random guy in a bar/restaurant/hotel glassed him and left him down a side street with a vein open.

Not really. He's American by birth, and obtained Chilean citizenship by moving there. He flaunts it openly despite him actually not being Chilean other than some immigrant. Anyone who knows that is going to know he's about as trustworthy as an actual spy because of that.

Could be, or could be a random artillery strike hit his position and killed him or he's otherwise moribund or in a hospital in a coma.

The least likely explanation is he finally wised up, as he seems terminally incapable of doing so.
