Social Justice Warriors - Now With Less Feminism Sperging

Per MSN, here are the 21 unwritten rules that black people follow to survive living around whites. I accept it's not an entirely SJW thing, but I can see self-hating whites using this to virtue signal and harass other whites.

To be fair, I can see why normal black people feel like they need these rules. However, it still gives me the impression they're only blaming whites for all their issues with little to no self-reflection on how their own people create these problems.
Shall I go the "BASED BLACK MAN" trope and dismiss that article as overreaction or give my honest take on it? It's actually an interesting read.

I would love to read your honest take. I'll be honest too. Naturally, the article does make me feel a little attacked. I'm sure you figured as much. Personally, I don't go out of my way to make black people feel threatened or unwelcome. However, I also don't represent all white people. I'm just a mediocre nobody trying to live his life.

I would MUCH rather have a situation in which anyone who tweeted anything negative about Musk or his businesses was banned/deleted than what we have now, in which anyone tweeting anything the Regime doesn’t like gets banned/deleted. Far less reach and danger.
After all, it's a private company, they can do what they want now.
And if the spergs don't like it, they can create their own,
Riiight ?

Per MSN, here are the 21 unwritten rules that black people follow to survive living around whites. I accept it's not an entirely SJW thing, but I can see self-hating whites using this to virtue signal and harass other whites.
For the sake of brevity, I'll spoiler these rules on here for people to look back on.

1."No matter how angry you get, you try and remain calm. If you raise your voice even a little — regardless of what you say or how you say it — you are instantly labeled an 'angry Black woman' and judged wrongly, even when you’re right."

"As a Black woman, it’s frustrating to see that Black women are seen as angry, aggressive, combative, and/or difficult when disagreeing about something while my white peers are seen as passionate, energetic, and spirited debaters. It’s disappointing, unfair, and can have a serious impact on one's career."

2."My mother taught me to ALWAYS ask for a bag and receipt, no matter how small the purchase, or you can be accused of stealing."

3."As a Black woman in a predominantly white area, I make a point of approaching staff first in stores when I walk in. I ask an innocuous question in a friendly, high-pitched voice, even if I don't need anything. They seem to feel safer around me and do not follow me around when I do that first."

4."As a Black woman, I usually keep my college jacket in the car. If I have to go to the emergency room, I'll receive better treatment if doctors see that I have a higher education."

5."I'm from Louisiana where they still have 'sundown towns.' Avoid them at all costs, but if you have to pass through at night, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A FULL TANK OF GAS so that you don't have to stop."

"When road tripping, every Black person knows not to stop in a rural area for gas or a pee break if you can help it, especially at night. I know someone whose child actually peed their pants because the area they were driving through was a sundown town, and they weren't going to risk it."

6."I am a Black woman, relatively new to my mostly white neighborhood. When I take a walk for exercise, I always walk in the middle of the street, not too close to houses on either side. I wear reflective gear and avoid staring too closely at any of the houses. I often think of Ahmaud Arbery while I’m walking."

7."I was taught to be an overachiever because no one expects a Black woman to be smart and well-spoken. I’m not expected to have a voice in anything, and many are shocked when I do. They are astounded when I can verbalize my thoughts and opinions in multi-syllable words. Melanin and ovaries do not cancel out intelligence and reason."

8."As a Black man, my father taught me, when being pulled over by the police, to pull your insurance and registration out of the glovebox and keep it ready on your seat. That way, you do not have to reach in the glovebox when the police are at your window.

9."Never EVER put your hands in your pockets while walking around a store. If you don't want to give them a reason to follow you around or call the police, your hands need to be visible at all times."

10."As a Black man, never get into an elevator with a woman alone. Always wait for the next one."

11."Something I know I have to be careful of in public (as a person mixed with white and Black) is remembering which parent I'm with and how to act. This is called code-switching. I have to make sure I act okay so I'm not labelled as 'ghetto' with my mom or 'white-washed' with my dad."

12."No matter how cold or windy it is, my hood stays off, and my earbuds/headphones stay off my ears."

13."As a Black man who loves hip-hop, I often have to censor the music that I listen to so I won't be judged as a 'thug.'"

14."As a Black man, if there is a white woman in line, you stand back far enough so you cannot touch her by mistake or be accused of touching her."

15."Knowing that I’ll be followed when shopping in high-end stores, I have product-related questions prepared for when they invariably ask me if I need assistance. Replying with 'No thank you, I’m just browsing' makes their suspicion jump, and suddenly, I have an unofficial entourage. I’m a college-educated Black man about to turn 40, but I still have to play these sorts of silly games. It can be very exhausting."

16."As a Black woman who works a swing shift and gets off work at 11 p.m., I will not take off my badge until I get inside my garage. I need to have a layer of protection to prove I'm not up to no good in case I get pulled over."

17."When meeting with executives or high-ranking officials where appropriate attire would be business casual for others, I wear full business attire. I’ve found that when I dress more formally, I receive more eye contact, head-nodding, and enthusiasm during conversations. This happens consistently."

18."I work in the hospital. Any time I get a patient out of bed, and they ask me to move their purse, I make sure it remains in their sight as I move it. I also hope that it’s a room with a camera, just in case any discrepancy comes up."

19."Don’t wear any jewelry/sunglasses of the brand where you are shopping in-store. As a Black woman, I’ve had an employee rip Gucci shades off my head (they were mine) and tell me not to stretch the merchandise."

20."Never let your kids play with toy guns."

21.And finally, "I find myself begging to get adequate medical care for the autoimmune disease and pain I deal with. Pain in Black folks is viewed much differently than in white people. It blows my mind how a lot of people don't realize that Black people get the short end of the stick in healthcare."

God, that's a lot of text. It's not entirely wrong, but as you said, it goes with the whole "Black folks are always victimized."

1, 14, 7, 11, and 2 I completely understand. 14 relates well in a college environment, given how sexual harassment/rape actions are not uncommon. 1 goes with the whole angry Black man trope. I try not to get too angry; otherwise I get accused of being "violent." I see this more with Black women, which I'll get into in a bit. With 11, I get that on both ends. It's like you're fighting with yourself of how you should or shouldn't be presented.

8, it's actually wiser to keep your hands on the steering wheel and methodically explain to the officer what you're doing. 5, I'm not going to argue that sundown towns DON'T exist. I'm sure they do, and I wouldn't want to be caught careless in one. That said, I feel the same way about being in Philly at night.

I look through it and ask WHY is this the case. This isn't to 100% blame Black people, but rather blame the acceptance and enabling of Black foolishness since George Floyd. Lately, I've seen stories and videos of Black people robbing, killing, looting, causing random acts of violence with little to no repercussions.

This affects Black people two-fold. We're likely victims to this AND we'll be judged collectively because of it. I fear if this trend continues, sundown towns will turn into an unwritten justification in rural areas.

E-begging and social justice do not mix.
I can sort of see this, except around here it is mostly black people with cars with absurd sound systems blaring mumble rap or whatever the latest thing is. Or latinos with this weird techno-TexMex where the singer sounds like he's getting his balls closed in a drawer.

5."I'm from Louisiana where they still have 'sundown towns.' Avoid them at all costs, but if you have to pass through at night, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A FULL TANK OF GAS so that you don't have to stop."
Cut the shit. Or post the ZIP code so I know where to live if I am ever forced to move to Louisiana.

For some reason, the website won't let me directly reply to you.

Believe it or not, I agree that black people shouldn't be 100% blamed. Some of that blame also goes to white liberals. White guilt is a helluva drug! Their enabling also hurts black people who just want to live their lives and get somewhere in life.

On the white end of things, these same enablers encourage white trash and homeless people to be drug addicts and criminals. Because, according to them, they're just victims and can do no wrong! The only bad guys are the people who want to end the vicious cycle.

Yes, racist whites still, and always will, exist; but, they're not the source of all black people's problems. Especially not these days. White people police themselves a lot more than they used to. Not only that, but blacks understimate just how pervasive white guilt is among white people. The normal blacks should be asking what's wrong with their own communites rather than blaming whites for everything.
The article isn't blaming whites or excusing blacks for the state of things. Most of it is just pointing out that some blacks feel the need to take extra steps to avoid being lumped in with bad apples. Does it actually work? There's no way to measure it, but it's better to be safe than to be sorry.

#1 is partially due to cultural differences. Around some groups like the Japanese or Koreans even American whites are seen as weird loudmouths if they use their normal tone.

The sundown town stuff is probably overblown. I can't find hard evidence of blacks being chased out of any town in the 21st century. Even Anna Illinois, jokingly known as "Ain't No Niggers Allowed", has a few black residents and the worst racism they face seems to be occasionally hearing racial slurs (and even then it is often in a neutral or positive context).

Good point. I'll admit I'm feeling on edge these days because of the abundant anti-white rhetoric I see in the media. However, you guys are right and this article isn't like that.

They're not wrong. In my years of customer service, I've dealt with too many rednecks and Karens, both male and female, who think being loudmouth assholes makes whatever it is they're tyring to say more valid.

There's a bug where posts of a certain size seem not to be quotable. I can't quote or reply to that post either.

Everyone talks about regicide. James May repeatedly talked about regicide on an Amazon Prime series. That these people think they're totally edgy for doing it on Twitter is kind of sad.

Also I cannot tell if that one's "block if born after 1997" is a threat or terms of their parole.

I wouldn't think sundown towns would be on a map or publicly disclose their extreme prejudice to the world.

Jesus christ, so many of these aren't black specific at all. They're all general safety things (e.g. earbuds) or things poor kids grow up hearing, too.
How myopic do you have to be to think that only one race gets accused of "not belonging" in nice shops, or having to pull out your license and registration ahead of time?

I don't care if I'm in a crowded city or in the middle of nowhere. Don't blast music in your ears in public. As for the music selection, keep that to yourself if it's profane. Common sense.

In the age of the internet, people who were discriminated against would probably disclose it for them.

It's definitely possible white supremacist towns are so small and remote nobody thinks of visiting them, though.

I would like to travel in the country, but the likeliness of running into towns like that is a bit high. Not to mention many rural towns can be hesitant to outsiders.

Apparently manga/anime characters aren't Asian unless you depict them as slant-eyed stereotypes who wear nothing but straw hats and yukatas 24/7, as they eat riceballs with chopsticks for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Remember, these are the same spergs and morons who thought they were improving it by ludicrously calling onigiri doughnuts. Actually these aren't even those spergs. Bringing those spergs back would be an improvement over the nasty little shits who are running the fandom now.

If it's so horrible living around whites then why does virtually everyone who can afford it, of whatever race, nearly immediately move to whiter neighborhoods?

I would like to know what it means by "predominately White." Is it based on class, location or even origin? For instance, city White is different from country White.

If the government is fighting against "disinformation," that's censorship.
The government already censors. They have found a loophole a while back and have been testing the waters. As we have seen with the pandemic and the election the government puts out facts and the private industries censor information that goes against it "voluntarily" so it isn't the government directly doing it and therefore not a 1A violation. This board is going to expand that practice and really push the boundaries.
