The new line of Regime apologia is "you only oppose the Disinformation Board because you thrive on disinformation!"

It's "you have nothing to fear if you have nothing to hide" all over again.

"ENRAGED!!!!"

Yeah, shitdick, you SHOULD be enraged. If you're not enraged, you are a timid little slave.
It is the 2022 version of "you're against the Patriot Act because you want the terrorists to win".

"but he make funny comic! he good!"

Without those drawings, he's Coulter with a cock. George is a better artist.

Also, lol. Lmao.

This graph is fucking useless.

What's the value of Y in the second graph? What the fuck does more conservative mean?

@Meat Target shitpost graph is more informative than this garbage, and more honest too.

It was a government/church separation issue, and the government offering tax benefits and certain privileges to "married" couples basically forced the definition to become more elastic on equality grounds. That's how conservatives lost the argument. But I think most religious folks would have been fine with simply giving the same benefits to all civil unions and insisting that marriage has a religious component that the government shouldn't get to define exclusively.
The definition became elastic the moment “marriage” was adopted as a legal term, thanks to the separation of church and state. Even before legalizing gay marriage, the legal definition of “marriage” ALREADY conflicts with the Christian definition, since any heterosexual couple could get married regardless of their religion.

Ironically, it’s BECAUSE of America’s early history as a heavily Christian nation that ensured the conservatives would never win on this issue. If it hadn’t started that way, perhaps some other term like “legal union” would’ve been used instead of “marriage” to describe “the legal status that affords couples tax benefits and other privileges”. Then, the church might have had a better leg to stand on when arguing that gays shouldn’t be able to get married. Not that it would even be a matter of debate in that case, because I’m pretty sure even today a priest/church cannot be compelled by law to officiate a gay marriage, under first-amendment religious freedom protections.

Going after kids is the worst political calculation they could possibly have made. Parents of schoolchildren more likely to support GOP by a 20-point spread.

Also Gen Z/Millennials are actually pro-GOP by a point? Wild.
Like any of this shit matters. In 2024 Biden will win reelection with 100 million votes and the Stasi I mean FBI will show up on your doorstep if you find any of that suspicious.

Reading how they did their analysis it's based on roll call votes:
This analysis is based on DW-NOMINATE, a method of scaling lawmakers’ ideological positions based on their roll-call votes. It is the latest iteration of a procedure first developed by political scientists Keith T. Poole and Howard Rosenthal in the early 1980s

Now, the problem is that the way someone votes may not reflect their true opinion. For example, remember when the Democrats voted PRESENT instead of a Yes / No for the Green New Deal?

How about for all the talk about the eviction moratorium? Congress, mainly the Dems washed their hands of it.

Where's the damn study? I'm only seeing screenshots.
If it were me I'd only count passed legislation because you can pretend to be VERY liberterian when there's no chance of the bill passing. I'm also wondering what they count as authoritarian.

I wonder if sometimes these things are used as leverage/blackmail.

For instance, Jimmy Kimmel knows that his career is over the moment someone on Twitter bitches about his old Karl Malone impressions, which is one of the reasons why I think he has gone insanely left as an overcompensation.
Kimmel's blackface shit has been brought up COUNTLESS times, but sadly it came up far too late for it to be used to bring him down. He's one of Disney's chief anti-life heralds, their big late night host (Disney spent YEARS fighting hard with local affiliates and their news division, over killing Nightline to replace it with a late night talk show) and Kimmel outright killing Jay Leno's career and forcing him into permanent retirement, gives him obscene immunity within Disney even before you factor in him going super woke.

Not as farfetched now as it was a few years go. In this environment with the right messaging these generations are ripe for crossover. For example there's been a lot of worried chatter in Lib circles up in Canada because the Conservative leadership frontrunner has been focusing exclusively on housing, inflation, and general affordability - and it's starting to reflect in the polling.

The current political environment is purely one of bread and butter pocketbook issues. Fail to deal with that (as the Dems are doing) and people are going to tune out or turn to those promising relief.

Also that Latino number? If anywhere remotely true the Dems are royally fucked. Period.

There’s also the thing that “Republican” doesn’t mean the same thing it used to 5-10 years ago. Arguably, “Republican” isn’t even fully synonymous with “conservative” right now, it’s a blend of “conservative” and “populist” trending towards the latter and that’s what will ultimately bring more people in.

Don't like 65% or some absurdly high number of Zoomers identify as gay or troon? I really doubt they're rushing out to vote Republican.
I think it's like 20%, which is still high considering 13% of Americans are of the basketball variety. But yes, there are more rainbow Americans than basketball Americans. I'm supposed to believe this.

They want the ten years of Kamala plus there is no consensus on how to get rid of Joe once he reaches the two year one day mark. I'm sure some would want to role the dice on the PR nightmare of 25th Amendmenting him out of power, some wanting to straight up murder Biden so they can have their Reichstag Fire moment to go full faschy, or just have him die of "natural causes" so they can kill him off in the most effective manner in regards to "how do we murder Sleepy Joe and make people think we didn't totally murder him" fashion, since natural causes would be way way way harder to prove was a straight up assassination.
so no one in the administration saw Million Dollar baby? i thought it swept the oscars back when it released.
Given how many times this has occurred over the last hundred or so years, you’d think the means-having classes would get it.
the problem is that its the scorpion and the frog; its insane to kill these people when it would result in your own death. yet its in their nature. its the same reason you have these chinese banks like evergrande defaulting even though it was drilling in their heads their entires lives that capitalism is bad and if you get caught defrauding the state (who is working for the good of the people) you and everyone for 3 generations on will either get killed or put in a work camp and most likely both.

you'd think multiple lifetimes of propaganda and the harsh punishment if caught would keep someone from not wanting to do it, yet its in their nature.
If you haven't served in the military you should not be able to be president. I will die on that hill.
i'd say the exact opposite, literally the shittest presidents were generals in the military. Eisenhower sent the military to murder kids in Alabama if they dared not interact with niggers.
Removing Wilson and FDR alone would have been worth the trade offs.
except retards like you don't realize that if it was a law they'd just get a National guard no-show job like GWB did. beyond that because people plan on running for president decades ahead of time (outside of trump) then just joining the reserves or guard before running would be a fuckload more common. even barack probably would have joined in 2004,
