That didn't stop police from allowing cities to burn. They will follow the orders they are given and then whine about how the really didn't want to do it but they had a family to feed!
Most of that also occurred in cities that were already pozzed with leftoidism in every rung of city government.

Completely inorganic. This feels incredibly manipulative; what the fuck else do the Dems have to unify over BUT this? I'm not one to usually get to the point myself, but there's a terrible feeling in me that this is exactly what they need to latch onto, generate capital, and get hands into the polling booth.
It won't unify shit. Those who this would rile are already consistent voters. The independents have much, much bigger issues on their mind. And the African view on it is... complicated to say the least

Politically, a decision on this at this time is -ideal-. Anyone it could potentially increase turnout for has a much bigger issue called "The Economy" on their mind.

Here's the big, important thing about being in -a- crisis (let alone several like this admin is). It provides cover for otherwise risky decisions and policy. So long as the thing you are touching isn't a bigger issue to specific risk groups.

And the biggest, most overriding issue is the Economy.

A bad economy provides cover for almost anything.

"The Democrats have a wonderful story to tell, and I think it could be distilled to something as simple as: The Democrats saved your life. They saved your job. They saved the economy. And now they're trying to save democracy from a Republican Party that no longer believes [in] it," Amandi said.

Pure insanity.

That was my exact thought, too. If I wanted to give the DNC an issue to wardrum over just in time for the Midterms, it would be Roe v Wade and right about now. Just in time for the Antifa/BLM/Feminazis to be comfortable marching outside again, too.

Jesus Christ this meme is retarded, but for the wrong intended reason.

Just keep it fucking simple as the first two mentioned are Nazis that worked with each other.

Just swap out Goebbels for Mao Zedong rather than trying to force a meme to demonize the Joes of the world just because Joe Biden is a nigger loving traitor cunt.

Their plan isn't to get more votes out for the mid terms, it is to get their nutjobs to burn shit and riot.
Here is my thinking. The sort of people who will do things like create a false water pipe burst in order to evacuate everyone so that they can repeatedly scan the fake ballots that they've hidden under the table in order to falsify an electoral win, well, those people don't do it because of money. They do it because they are True Believers. Sure the Dems need $$$$$ to "get out the vote" but the people that will straight up steal elections need fervor, not money. They need to think that it's a matter of life and death. This fits that niche, for sure.

Ah yes, the perfect message for when the economy is spiralling.

Problem is that a bunch of reactive laws will go into effect when it's done that will mean that the larger swathes of the people who really want it... will still have it. And those that don't will be in heavily red areas that they're not gonna be able to flip.

Also doubly good that fervor leaves less of a money trail.

Speaking of marching, the dems... got a militant group of rioters on the steps of the courthouse REAL fucking fast. Almost like they knew this leak was coming.

If this is an op, here's how I see it playing out.

  • Leak the memo
  • Create a bunch of chaos to get the base energized
  • Have one of the conservatives cuck, causing it to not go through, never citing (publicly) the pushback to the leak
  • "WE MANAGED TO FIGHT OFF THE EVIL CAPITALISTNAZIFASCISTS, BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP IN NOVEMBER"
  • Coast to a close enough election in November that rigging is still possible.

The “they saved the economy” line is desperation and pure lol- too divorced from reality to be taken even remotely seriously. However, it’s that “they saved your job” line that is actually enraging to me, personally.

They/their policies *directly* cost me my job. Fuck them with a Bad Dragon covered in sandpaper and mounted to a power drill.

How would someone begin the process to do that, if SCOTUS was willing to do it? I ask because I hate the concept of "it's too hard so we won't do it" from a bench of lifetime appointees.

Like, if it takes a lifetime, then it's probably worth one in this case.
The best way to do that on purely stare decisis grounds is to start building up supporting precedent in small ways, mostly by selectively litigating cases where the law isn't entirely settled. The NAACP used this strategy pretty effectively in breaking down separate but equal, starting with desegregating law schools, then desegregating colleges, before moving on public schools.

To be absolutely fair, this Removals process isn't nearly as bad as I suggest, because it's an option that Congress has the option to exercise, rather than always being set in stone, so it's not nearly as irreversible. That being said, there are attempts being done by the Federalistz to roll back the administrative state, with Roberts and Gorduch especially not happy with some of the decisions made.
its comments like this that makes me think you're just Dax when he's sober; you really think they wont just pressure big tech?

I'm sorry you're too stupid to realize that I'm just relaying basic Fors Amendment Law.

There's a difference between using soft power to influence big tech and openly forcing big tech to censor people th government disapproves of. Ones shitty but legal, the other is blatantly unconstitutional.

This logic is retarded because we still have a large amount of brain dead trash criminals pumping out kids. They have access to protection AND abortion in most cases, but they just don't use it.
It’s just that we have far less crime with abortion than without. Read ‘Freakonomics’ for more details.

You appear to be equating my point with a desire to ‘force’ abortions on people, and implying that I may be a ‘closet eugenicist‘. I made no mentions of either of these, at all.

I’d encourage you to re-read what I wrote, because claiming that I have opinions I never expressed then calling my logic ‘retarded’ is some Reddit-tier bullshit, no lie.

If this occurred while Trump was in office and presiding over the relative prosperity that was enjoyed through (most of) his term, I’d agree with you.

The left would 1.) have their orange boogeyman to act as a solidifier for tHe rESisTAncE, and 2.) with a humming economy, the independents would have the free time and capacity to worry about menial shit like mean tweets and RvW. When times are good, that’s when you see the most sperging over non-issues (gun control is a good example) that only become issues when people don’t have more pressing matters to concern themselves with. Wokeness is a luxury that can only be enjoyed in times of prosperity.

The economy is in the shitter and we’re hurtling towards a recession. And that’s on top of the multitude of other crises currently plaguing the Brandon Administration. I agree with @Gehenna- if this was going to happen, now was the best time. Who cares about abortion when gas, food, and nearly fucking everything else is becoming prohibitively expensive?
