Great, we've just had 2 straight years of lockdowns, supply chain disruptions, and entitled fucks telling everyone that they're the worst human beings to ever exist is they don't let the gov't strip even more of our freedoms, and now, conveniently, the "vote blue no matter who" idiots not only have something that secures the midterms after they pissed away every ounce of goodwill they had prior to the 2020 election, but we have renewed calls to fuck the supply chain up even further?
Bear with me as I reacclimatize, I've spent several months off the various hellsites, and might be behind on the latest bullshit.

Exactly. The part of Berserk that this is taken from is infamous even amongst fans for being over the top with gore, all for the sake of making the villain of the part as edgy as possible. Berserk has a lot of brutal and obscene moments, but it's all to build characters or the world and it never uses them for shock value alone. If you don't like the gore it's as simple as not reading it.

The fastest way to cement a character in anything as utterly irredeemable, is to make them someone that harms women and children. It's such a common trope that TVTropes has an extensive article on it.

So do Muslims have Muslim privilege because they get extra break time for their prayers? Or does home depot oppresse them by denying them from fulfilling their religious obligations?
You know, it's funny, because I tried to have that argument with management once, and they got REALLY mad that I'd suggested that if Muslims were permitted:
- 15 minutes to leave their work area,
- 15 more to wash whatever parts are mandated,
- 15 minutes to prepare the prayer area,
- 30 minutes to pray,
- then 15 minutes to return to their work area.
... which is essentially half of the working period between any given break, then my 11 minute smoke break should be allowable as a "religious prerogative", since Natives treat tobacco as a sacred herb, and my 49 additional minutes of productive between each break create vastly greater value for the company. I also don't regularly deflect every criticism with a claim that it's rooted in racism.
I also got in shit for pointing out that Muslims leaving bottle water in bathrooms was a health risk, while any kind of COVID restrictions were in place, and that they absolutely better not have their feet lifted into any fucking sinks, for their required washing, because it's absolutely a health hazard to be doing that shit, under normal conditions.
