May 3, 2022 - Chris returned to CVRJ

In my experience, defendants who complete evaluation of their ability to aid and assist at trial are housed in their local jail until their next hearing. This is why he is ar CVRJ. Based on the fact that they kept him about 60 days means one of two things: Either he now understands the charges and the possible outcomes and can continue working with his attorney in how own defense, or he doesn't. If he understands, he and Heilberg go to the next stage of preparation for the next hearing. It is likely that he has received whatever medical treatment that could be offered. Speculating on what he has been prescribed is just that, speculating. We don't know. We don't know what happened there other than his evaluation. He may have realized that he couldn't play pretend forever; and while he might not understand or believe what he did was wrong, he now knows this is not going to end the way he wants it to. The adults have put an end to his huge game of pretend, and he realizes it.

I do not have the specific knowledge of how the Virginia court will handle this case. The best outcome for Chris is to be placed in a facility for persons who are intellectually disabled (or whatever the current term is these days). While he might experience 'mental illness' in the sense he could have a mild disorder, I believe his primary issue is that he is mentally retarded (not current accepted term but descrptive) which is why he behaves this way. Many people in the jail population have significent deficits in their intellect, and of those very few of them have had any special training. Very few facilities for this exist, our mental health care sucks, and most of the reason it sucks is because everything was thrown out when institutions were closed instead of remade. Courts do the best they can with the blunted and broken tools we can access, when we can access them at all.

I strongly believe Chris is beyond actual treatment. I doubt he would benefit from therapy because 1. he needs to want it and 2. he has a track record of twisting things so in some way, he believes he's right. Having him think he has realized what he did was wrong and is now understanding the full extent of fucking his mom, is optimistic. Maybe he had a day or two of realization, but he'd regress again.

No medication can "cure' what Chris has. His supposed new medication given by the hospital is probably to prevent outbursts while in jail, and especially during the hearing. It may be funny for us to see him freak out over not having his toys, but it probably isn't for those in the hearing who just want to go home.

I would be interested to see a recent evaluation done on Chris psychologically. Totally possible if not likely that he is beyond help in many ways, but still would be interested to see a professional take. Far as I remember, the only evaluations that were ever mentioned in any capacity were from a long time ago. His delusions are surely some form of deeply conditioned coping, but the problem is he's made them the foundation of his reality, so I'm not really sure how that is treated if the cause isn't some kind of condition like schizophrenia and the person can't be rationalized with. Chris acts more like a cultist than someone with a psychiatric condition, he just somehow managed to continue brainwashing himself long after his influencers stopped being involved with him. But I'm sure cult members have had to be deconditioned in plenty of situations so I would think Chris could be treated in the same way... the problem of course being the autism making him already prone to not understanding his situation.

ECT is actually a really good alternative to medication for curing chronic depression. The only issue is that it can be risky under an inexperience doctor (see: varying degree of amnesia) along with a having bad rep thanks to decades of pop culture associating it with only the clinically insane. Thankfully it's seeing a resurgence in the past several years with more modern techniques applied. And unlike 90 years ago, you're put under anesthesia before they do it.

Does this also mean no more prison letters? The mental health professionals might have decided that allowing Chris to mail out his unhinged fantasies are just making his delusions worse, and being heavily medicated might also make him less motivated to write.

I'm just waiting with the popcorn for the inevitable drama once Chris realizes he's not a tomgirl and troons will freak out about him getting the "conversion therapy" when in reality his troonery was just an effect of his mental illness and not his actual sexual identity.

Imagine the absolute horror Chris must be feeling if those meds really have snapped him back to reality.

He's sitting alone in his cell in protective custody, the sound of yelling and shouting from the other inmates echoing throughout the day. The realization that he is not a god, unable to escape his fantasy world, the fact that he was not healing his mother, but rather raping an elderly senile woman. Knowing now that there is no Sonichu, no ponies or whatever shit he imagined to have been keeping him company this entire time. Realizing now that for the majority of this century he has been nothing but the internet's village idiot. So he sits alone, staring blankly at the concrete wall in front of him with absolutely nobody but his attorney left on his side.

Alternatively hes absolutely incapable of self realization and is smearing his shit all over the wall right now. Fuck if I know.
