It's kind of funny to see old Senzawa clips, but I'm glad she's gotten away from the constant swearing and "edgy" humor. She still manages to keep the meme-y/bratty-ness without having to resort to that now. I think if she was still like this I probably wouldn't even bother to watch and likely never would have gone down the rabbit hole either then, since Gura clips are what got me into this. A bit of toilet humour ain't hurt no one in moderation! I think having 19 other people always around you: 2 of which are your best friends and many others you've rapidly befriended, it's probably that she just has more opportunity to be unhinged more often.

From the clips I always see pop-up, it seems to me that NijiEN is VShojo-lite. They lean in to the peepeepoopoo and lewdTuber aspect quite a bit, but don't quite live in that space as much as VShojo does. From what pops up in my recommendations, Finana and Millie I think are the most guilty of that. Holo isn't perfect seiso, in fact many of the talents are far from it too, but I feel like on a scale they are maybe less so.

Holo < NijiEN < VShojo with some overlap between each of them.

So I guess if you want to have a little more lewd in your corp vtubers but not go full on vshojo, I can see where niji ends up as a nice middle ground.

Why does Ame sound so much cuter in her 3D/VR streams?

It's the same with Gura. I think the VR setup they use (the Index?) and its mic are what causes it to sound so different from their normal streaming setups.

At the end they talked about maybe reversing the roles for another stream. Mumei and Fauna draw Myth in various styles (or maybe based on a theme), and then Ina and Kiara can rate them. I liked it, it was something different and a way to do a collab that isn't playing the same games they already have done too many times, as other have said. I look forward to the next stream where they switch roles, if they end up doing it.

Pippa is an everyman type of fucked up so people can project onto her which makes her a "Watame" for the terminally online and I love it and I like her. I root really hard for her in the same way and I want Watame to preform at the Budokan - I want Pippa to continue growing and achieve a semblance of what she would consider success, maybe eventually be content and happy. Posting a sappy message like this this on a forum for lolcows is peak irony but this is the best vtuber discussion board.

To be frank, if Pippa wasn't so damned likeable she'd be a lolcow. When she expresses that some part of her life was or is fucked up though, I don't want to laugh at her, I feel concerned like I would someone I care about.

These two are worse at singing together than they are separately. Pretty sure that wasn't the point though lol. With Kiara, Kobo was trying to impress Mommy Phoenix; other senpais get the cacophonic blue kusogaki experience.

Kobo seems to click with Ollie in particular out of her branch senpais.

TBF, Mumei gave the impression she was going to be my favourite of Council and that's why I am extra salty. I also had a problem when Soju, Rushia's main clipper and arguably the best HoloClipper, decided to start clipping Mumei after Rushia graduated. Guess who was one of my favourite Japanese talents.
