I agree with all this and it's why I hated the religious fundies growing up. It's also why I despise the current left.
At least where I am now the church has lost a shitload of influence, and I haven't had anyone try to force the religious bullshit on me irl in well over a decade, probably closer to two. That niche has now been filled by the current left, which is why I'm frequently critical of it.
I prefered some stranger telling me I was going to hell for smoking weed and having premarital sex over mobs of people showing up to my university, cancelling classes, fighting random people, limiting scholarships etc on the basis that all white people, all straight people, and all men are evil.
Bottom line is whether you're a boomer fundie or a woke millennial nobody wants other peoples shit forced on them. I'd prefer as many things as possible to be up to individual choice without pressure or force from the retarded mob shit. In this particular case that would be abortion, though I do get where some of the boomer sanctity of life arguments come from.
I don't think anything will change law wise with abortions though and all this is likely just manufactured drama. Like this debate was done decades ago. If it does end up happening it's a retarded move on the Republicans part and they'll likely lose a huge portion of centrists.
