Yeah, definitely “suspicious” that so many vehicles are bunched up like that.

Something a little different from the usual combat footage: war crimes trials have begun in Ukraine. The suspect in the first trial is a Russian tank commander named Vadim Shysimarin. It's alleged that he killed a 62 year old man after being ordered to do so to prevent the man from reporting his and his comrades' positions to the Ukrainian military.
thats not a warcrime...

You need to understand these types of territorial disputes and blood feudes don't get formed in an instant or over one single event. For all the Serbian sabre rattling of "KOsOV jE SErbIa" ethnic Albanians in the region have been contesting Serbian rule since at least the 12th century when they became a breakaway principality if not before that. Catalonia has constantly gone in and out of an autonomous state, trying to seperate from Spain. Crimea again, theres been lots of back and forth and legitimate hostility with the rest of Ukraine.

If these conflicts and seperatist movements just appear out of nowhere with no prior history then it's 100% glowie manufactured horse shit. It's not hard to lead someone who is poor, hungry and stupid by the nose, and Ukranians were and are all three of those things.

In regards to Transnistria, it was purely a political matter. Most of the soldiers stationed there and the administration, came from the USSR so it wasn't about ethnicity as much as political indoctrination.
A thing that should be noted about Transnistria is that their legal basis of even existing is due to Moldova, as part of it's secession from the USSR, declaring null and void the treaty transferring Moldova from Romania to the USSR and all Soviet laws, acts and decisions.

This meant Moldova technically disclaimed what is now Transnistria as it was transferred to Moldova by the USSR and should've been retroceded to the Ukraine.

Brits, Krauts, Americans and others wondering exactly how they'll benefit from lavishing hundreds of billions on a gangster-run Slavic version of Israel, while food and fuel prices go nuts at home, in order to increase the chance of total thermonuclear war within the next decade, are Putler lovers who hate are Freedom and Democracy and Trans rights. :smug:
By keeping the industries running, war is the best kind of business esoecially when you don't need to send your people to die

Modern air power is like a glass cannon, you cannot produce them in the 10s of thousands like in WW2 and thus, the U.S. would use their air fleet more conservatively if they go against peer oponents on land.
Modern air power isn't a glass cannon. They cannot be produced in those numbers but the reason they had to be was because their capabilities were severely limited. To destroy a single factory you'd maybe need several squadrons of B-17s. Nowadays a single fighter can pickle off two laser guided bombs through the roof to acomplish the same mission.
The US being conservative with air power is the name of the game. The use of EW, cruise missiles and decoy drones to force SAM sites to expose themselves reduces attrition.

More info about that statue

A monument called "The Cry of the Ukrainian Mother" was installed in the Prince's Garden in Sofia, opposite the monument to the Soviet Army. According to the idea, the monument condemns Russia's actions against Ukraine.

God knows how much I despise pretentious "art."
If the goal of the statue is to dehumanize Ukrainians into being a weird space monster abomination then congrats?

Zelensky became an honorary Doctor of Humanities at Manor College in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.
At this point i want russia to win just to see this rat faced jew get strung up in some Moscow Military Court.

Ideally he'd waste away in a Siberian Labor Prison until he dies cold, sad and alone but i'll take a good old fashioned hanging too.

The fact that Z-man seems to have somehow personally pissed in your Cheerios is hilarious.

The Riga City Council voted for the demolition of the monument to the Liberators. 39—for, 13—against.

In recent days, a confrontation has unfolded near monument between the authorities and local residents who tried to bring flowers to the monument on May 9.

Defenders of the monument to liberators in Riga, who at this moment are gathered for a rally at the Metropolitan Duma, are being given such "tickets" to leave the country; it says "from Latvia to Mordor Vatnik".

Ukraine also requested the ICC to start an investigation. I guess they just want some international back up for the higher up while personally takin care of the small fishes.
