The movie is on track to lose like $80,000,000 dollars. Good thing that Randy is a CEO of a video game company - an industry that's doing extremely well and not looking to cut costs in any way possible. Borderlands 3 is a game that is beloved and he isn't putting himself in the crosshairs by wasting money and goodwill.

The only thing that could be better is if Randy has some financial stake in the movie somehow. I know he gets a royalty check if it does well but I wish he put a personal stake into it.
