Sometimes I feel like Phil is never lying. I know that sounds insane but hear me out. In pro wrestling, something Phil knows so well there are people(think hulk hogan, ric flair) who begin to live their gimmick so much that if you speak with them they don't actually recall what are the real stories. People mention how Terry no longer exist and Hulk only knows how to live as Hulk. Same with Richard and Ric. I believe that Phil Burnell no longer exist. He has lived the DSP gimmick so hard so long that it has consumed his personality AND memories. He thinks all of this is the truth. He says he maybe flagged someone only to say he never did a few weeks later because in his mind at that moment that is the gimmick he remembers. He can't keep track of his own canon basically, especially since Phil no longer exist. So to my original point, I do not think DarkSydePhil goes into anything openly lying, or realizes when he is lying. I can't imagine what Khet gets on any day off, if they even really speak, if she is even still there.

I'd more accredit this to narcissism than to the character of DSP. He is genuinely delusional and living in his own reality. He believes most of what he says to be true. Obviously not the WWE Champions stuff, but a lot of the petty shit we nitpick him or he does genuinely believe. The Rambo & Howard situation I think is a prime example. He's just fundamentally incapable of grasping social interactions and interpreting the information gathered from them. That's why he needs to put words in people's mouths to express how he actually understood a situation, and when we get to see what the other person actually said, it becomes clear he's full of shit.

Sometimes he intentionally does it with chat members, misinterpreting what he says to serve his own narrative, but many times it's simply the information he retains, and his way of interpreting it that's delusional. I'll give a small example to convey what I mean.

Consider a scenario with a boss and a worker:

B: "You've done a decent job, but there's a lot of room for improvement"
W: The boss said "You did a great job, Phil, but it could be better"

It's almost as if he wants to twist every bit of information in a flattering way, and if that's not possible (maybe it's criticism), to twist it in a way that victimizes himself

This is in regards to that preamble before the PandaLee section in the video. There was something about him taking responsibility for the PandaLee segment and her being part of his content.

I should not have done that. I take full responsibility." I very much wanted to believe him. Like, FINALLY HE TAKES THE BLAME FIR HIS ACTIONS, right? But it just felt off. Not like he was geniunely apologetic but more like he was going the motions of someone who is apologizing. Not that he was sorry for putting Leanna out there like a trophy fuck toy. But that he was sorry she was in HIS khantent at all. It was the kind of 'going through the motions' we go through when we ask someone how their day is and they say 'fine'. 'My dog just died.' ' Sorry to hear that'. etc.

I don't know. Maybe I'm just too biased against Phil to accept that for once he actually regrets the way he treated someone. But I've never seen him show any empathy for anyone. And I don't know if a paywalled celebration livescream is the place to finally comeout after 6 years to atone to someone who only refers to you as 'my ex', Phil.

He apologized for bringing it Leanna because he thought she ruined his content, not that he felt bad for her in any way. His weapon of choice to dispute the claims against him is bullshit semantics that only bring credence because they have a "nugget of truth". Only thig is the "nugget of truth" is about 98% of the actually truth and Phil denies everything and calls everyone idiots, morons, mentally ill, and drama queens because they don't know the full other 2% of what's said about him.

Sidenote* Phil quit being a tournament player right after the Jaha/Watson confrontation. If someone who is completely honest, took hate and transformed it into work ethic, and people respected for crying in their face in the real world after talking shit on the internet. When couples say "rarely see each other" means they both have busy life, busy with work, possibly working in different shifts. DSP sits home all day, every day, he could stream anytime. IF he really wanted to save this relationship, he would adopt. But we know he doesn't even know what the word means.

One thing Leanna did that I respect is she actually expressed a relationship with Phil.

Now, for those in a relationship where your partner live together. Do they never text or check up on you after 8 hours unless they are mad? If you work in the house after COVID and know you are on the computer most times... even if they don't have a job of their own.. do they ever text you to see you want food, or anything if you love each other? Or... is it a relationship where the only reason you check your phone is for tips and you have to make the effort to go see them when they are right downstairs, you don't sleep in the same bedroom sometimes, you both forget your anniversary just after three years and a few days after your birthday, they have no social media, they play one game religiously and they don't wanna ever play with you?

Viscant had the whole DX chop trash, and later bailed Phil out from some of the West Coast boys by convincing them Phil wasn't worth the trouble. Boo Hoo I am an alcoholic don't kick my ass. I'll have to ask Jaha to talk with me on a stream but Phil got pressed for rage quitting a money match and Jaha and crew made Phil cough up $10 because he lost 1 out 10 rounds

This Evo bullshit is simple it was a shitty port. Phil decided to practice it get decent at learning the exploits, and his ego ran wild. Alex Valle had a family matter to take care of and decided to not compete just to gatekeep and after the tournament the players held their own and after all his shit talk and flexing Phil no showed.

This annoying groomed fan girl was a blight to early Phil and people complaied until that Kingdom Hearts stream. After the move it went sour Phil never went on trips anymore, didn't go to conventions and chose to hide away in his Snort Fort letting gin rot his brain. Panda left because Phil is a chuld and she was sick of him. Kat was baited with cash and a fix a boyfriend Phil played the sad addict card and it worked.
